It takes two to get a contract done.

It happens with every major Cowboys contract extension. So we know which side isn't getting it done.

It’s smart when the player waits. If you know the price goes up it’s safe to know the player agents knows too.

Re: 2025 NFL Off-Season
Browns would've been better off trading Garrett.
They already have Watson's contract and now we add the Garrett deal. So that's two massive deals on the books, for a bad team that isn't competing and doesn't have their QB situation figured out.
That team is destined to continue to drown and never compete

Good for the Raiders, Chargers, Jaguars, Giants and Browns. Only the Chargers made the playoffs paying that kind of money and they got bounced early.

I like how 123 mil made him forget about "desire to win a championship"

Sounds to me like Micah just had a better agent than Myles Garrett. Why should he sign right now?

Meh, can't really blame him. I know they're supposed to want to win above all else, but at the end of the day, this is a business and it's their livelihood, especially since NFL teams drop them like a bad habit the second they don't want them any more. So he's locking up his financial security.
Would be unreasonable to expect him to turn down that kind of money for a chance to win a championship somewhere else where his financial security isn't anywhere near as good.

Ton of draft capital. Five picks in the first three rounds.
