Maybe because we're born in Wisconsin, the cold isn't much of our thinking, but like c'mon... you're gonna be on a beach somewhere half the year during offseason anyways. You can handle a few months of cold. Go to a team you can win and get paid. All that other stuff is window dressing.

I mostly agree with this but being outside for 4 hours when it's 5 degrees with a -30 windchill in short sleeves would be pretty miserable, if you could get paid the same amount to not do that most of us would.

I for sure thought Garrett legitimately wanted to win. I definitely bought the story.

Is that a Cap thing, or has he worn out his welcome again?

You could also look at it the other way. Losing can be even more miserable and getting an extra bit of sunshine wouldn't necessarily make me feel better about being on a team let's say, the Chargers (historically), Raiders etc. That winning feeling trumps a few hours of numb limbs.

Not to say there aren't competitive warm weather teams, but you're really limiting your winning options making vain requests when most teams will face some type of inclement weather or are in a dome so it's a moot point anyways.

Edit: I'm sure family and what you're comfortable with will always play a role. But he's in his prime now, I'd be looking to win and wouldn't care where I was because he's probably only got a handful of productive years before the athleticism goes. When he retires in his early/mid 30's he can enjoy the weather.

Well, I don't blame Myles for taking a sh**load of money, but he now forfeits the right to complain about not being in a winning situation.

What I don't necessarily get, though, is why he took this over seeking a trade and an extension. There might have been a situation where he could have gotten both.

Nothing is guaranteed, he can tear an ACL working out. I think he wanted to go to a winning team and Cleveland gave him and offer he couldn't refuse. Take 113mil guaranteed now.

Kind of shocked by this. The talking heads in Minny thought for sure they were going to try to get a younger and save a little money by signing a guy like Rico Dowdle so they could spend more on their lines and secondary.

Good for Aaron, especially the guaranteed cash. He had a very productive year last year, but... I can't help but think Father Time will catch up soon.

I hated to see him leave GB, but getting Josh Jacobs worked out pretty well. :D

Wonder if Za'Darius completes the NFC North tour and signs with the Bears.

I wonder if we are going to get a bunch of Rodgers rumors and then he ends up nowhere waiting for the big in season injury that may never come.

That to me makes it feel like Seattle is talking to other QBs so they don't get accused of tampering with Darnold when they sign him at 11:01 tomorrow

God, I hope this is just his agent trying to stir up interest. Nothing more.
