PG: Bucks Fall to Cavs

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Mon Mar 10, 2025 2:26 am

Cavs are simply the better team. We hung around for awhile. We were ice cold.

We actually held them under their 123.1 average.

Can't point to anyone specifically really. Lots were bad tonight.

A week or so ago I said Sims was just a guy but he's growing on me. Defensively anyway. It would be nice if he could do something, anything on offense.

Cavs and Thunder are clearly the 2 best teams. And Silver will do anything he can to get a Celtics/Lakers final.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Their role players stepped up. Our role players pooped the bed. AJ Green and GTJ, especially, were unplayable.

With the caveat that things might be different in the playoffs this team doesn't feel close to being a contender. I wonder how Giannis and Dame feel about that.

Back-to-back is the only caveat, & it's a small one. Just unbelievably stupid basketball on both ends. I'm back to believing that jettisoning the coach is the only card we have left to play. It may well not solve most of our problems, but it'd solve some.

It's not Kuz's fault, but I dont think any of the real contenders have an offensive zero like him in their starting lineup. Exacerbated by being a bad fit with Giannis.

He'll look good against bad teams in transition and when cuts are open. But just bogs things down otherwise and will get worse in playoffs.

It would require our entire team to play near perfect for 4 games and the Cavs forget how to play.

Give Rollins some PT if our guards are going to look like this. We just have no shot if we are going to shoot like this.

By the way, there is NO EXCUSE for running lineups without Dame and Giannis. When will Doc figure that out?

I blame the refs, just because that's the easiest thing to do.

You knew when they hired Doc Rivers that the absolute ceiling is a second round out.

dog **** game

some good moments but overall, dog ****

i have to believe a lot of our energy and focus issues were due to the back to back. i also have to believe that we have a better chance against these guys in the playoffs when depth wont mean as much and Giannis can stay in longer.

I'd move Rollins into the starting lineup, at least until Green's out of his slump. The TP guard guarding experience can't continue.

If he hasn't yet, he won't. Maybe the next coach this offseason will, assuming the roster stays intact.
