Someone else has got to see the irony in that post. How about we wait until Insfo picks a bust like Bailey with his lottery pick first since that’s how we justify if things are manipulation or not?

Bull crap. You know it's not the draft for that.
He knows it too. And why the **** are you grasping at all the meaningless straws instead of looking at the damn problem itself? I later edited the Wiseman part, bet it made your day since you thought you can change the subject into a meaningless agenda.
Look, I don't see how in the world it's justifiable or the same thing in your eyes to let got of a 12.5 games lead like nothing, dropping deliberately several spots to get the same odds at #1 as a team with limited assets who sucked all year because they can't win even if they try...
The m'er was 5 games down from a bye and was closer to me as the 1st seed than he was from the first non playoff team.
vs dropping a few spots down WHEN YOU'RE ALREADY AMONG THE WORST!!!!! When there was no lottery.
Every single guy did that back then, Mirja made a living off of that. That's why you started the damn lottery in the first place.
To me it's asinine you're even coming with this revisionist whataboutism history when it's clear cut it's not **** the same thing with what's happening now and this has never happened before.
You're barely even acknowledging it, let alone doing something about it. Even joking about this fool getting #1 is an insult to all other lottery participants.
And even guys who fought until the end for a playoff spot, knowing they got limited odds when getting there...bet they will come up with the same idea in the future.
Your all equal lottery odds system is **** flawed and he found a shameful gate of exploiting it.
I presented the most logical thing to be done here.
I even asked about getting a vote with all the guys.
Nada. You're still about the revisionist history and equating apples to oranges.

At least you're still going strong. You should have tanked your way into the lottery like other fools did, might have scored Flagg.
Keep that in mind for next year. Apparently anything goes nowadays.

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 11
Alright, issue at hand. Being objective here so let's keep the focus on the strategies employed and the correlation when it was implemented.
The league is well aware of tanking and multiple GMs have already resorted to such a move to gain an advantage for the upcoming draft. Now what we have as case studies are the following:
- Mirj who has refused to compete to be eternally bad to collect multi-year assets which frankly, had almost insignificant impact as all GMs gained with the "free matchup wins"
- RO who decided to tank after the fact that the fantasy season in question is already lost and was leveraging a better draft position
And then there is this situation where we have a competitive roster, relatively healthier than most teams, had a strong position pre-tank, and had the chance to be a top 3 team, then decided to look forward to the next season, regardless of this season's outcome.
Sam Hinkie Sixers
vs
2017-2018 Phoenix Suns
vs
2024-2025 Utah Jazz
I don't support any, I find it cheap, but as we're simulating reality basketball, including rule implementations and sanctions, the way I see it, if the actual NBA does not have an answer yet to punish tanking, so do we.
Unfortunately.

I disagree.
Tankers need to be held accountable. That includes me if lord Ty believes I am tanking. I will take the L for the betterment of the league. Keep your eyes on DMs Ty. Stay tuned.

Well, all good if we can have that modality.
How about for tankers, they lose their pick for the following year?
Ex. Tank for 2024-2025, lose their 2026 pick
"Rewards" the 2025 tank though, but yeah thinking of losing a pick

No. Logical thing in this scenario which I already proposed to Putin to be submitted to a vote is the following:
He keeps his pick but it's #6 by default.
Other 5 guys have a lottery between themselves.
This discourages this shameful display to be done ever again since you have no incentive to drop like this without a shot at #1.
Of course Putin shut me down easily. Maybe other guys can talk some sense into him.
But rest assured, if this guy gets #1 in the lottery everyone and their momma will be doing the same in the future. I know I will.
I'll play for real for half the year. If I even sniff an injury to one of my players and lesser odds at the chip, I'm tanking my ass off and dropping like a sack of potatoes in the standings.

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 11
Ain’t nothing happening to Insfo considering RO has been actively scheming for years in the league in the following ways:
Tanking to improve draft position
Trading with future assets to be named at a later time
Encouraging others to draft certain prospects for his own benefit
Reneging on agreed upon trades
Encouraging manipulation with lottery results
At the end of the day, he is scared of insfo’s team. At that’s really a personal problem. I’m not scared of it.

That's an utter bullcrap list and none as serious of just happened here.
Nor am I scared of his team, wtf. He's on a different timeline. The guys who are hopefuls at the throne after I die should be scared, not me.
Enjoy the results of your work in the future though. I hope you stay as consistent as you are now when someone else will follow this path.
And both of you butt buddies are on the no trade list btw, don't bother ever sending an offer again.

You have a 38 win team and you did 12 add/drops all year.
You have zero credibility on this matter, much like ROballer.

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 11
I haven't said much so far, because I know my views are way in the minority on this issue -
I believe there is nothing wrong with tanking and that it is a legitimate strategy.
Basically my position is if teams can do it in the real NBA, it should be allowed in fantasy as well.
Also, any dynasty league rule changes should not apply retroactively for fairness.

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 11
For what? All the **** you wrote there is utter nonsense except for me admitting dropping voluntarily a few spots in the standings when there was no lottery.
Like every one did, the fact you only single me out is ludicrous. Likewise equating this with the problem we have at hand.
All the other stuff is you not taking your meds on time talk.
Like what the actual ****. "Encouraging others to draft certain prospects" =))
Literally never happened. In fact, the ass we're talking about asked me for years to help him out and I literally gifted him Jalen Williams.
Even if it did happen(it didn't). Why am I to blame if someone else is dumb?
Likewise to the manipulating the lottery.
If I tell you to **** your mother, should you do it?
You're grown ass adults, you listening to me and doing things it's on you, not me.
