It's basically a 2-year deal with an out. Very similar to what Baker got. It's not terrible by any means. They didn't break the bank.

Ya getting Darnold at just 55 mil guaranteed is pretty damn solid.

It’s essentially just a copy of the Baker deal. And your QB will be making around 13-15% of the cap and it’s a very easy contract to get out of if Darnold completely tanks.

Yup! Looks good on paper. It shouldn't hamper them if they decide to draft a guy within a year. It's basically just a 2-year contract worth $55 million.
