I'm giving anyone who played for the Jets (with the exception of Rodgers) the benefit of the doubt. It looks like we went 2nd tier in terms of d-tackle

Kinlaw was drafted by the 49ers so maybe there is some bias there.

I agree. Seems like an overpay.

Jets/49ers fans don't seem to like the guy and are wondering why Washington didn't keep Allen instead.

Dyami Brown to the Jaguars. 1 yr/10 mil. Hope Luke steps up (I believe he will).

Kinlaw's 3 years younger than Allen isn't he?
My guess with AP, he's waiting on teams like the Patriots who have a ton of cap space to go wild to the point where the Commanders are the only team with modest cap room.
For example, Pats have signed like 6-7 guys today. Chargers brought Mack back, Cardinals just signed Sweat. Seahawks just signed Darnold.

Go get Darius Slayton.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

We don't appear to be doing much with our cap space?

I think we're just being strategic in our spending.

NBA free agency, it seems like all the teams do all their stuff the first day and then go on vacation. I think what AP is doing is that he's heading to the supermarket, notices the line is out the door, so he's waiting in his car in the parking lot. Once the line dies down, he'll then go in and get the same type of player for like a 30% cut.
If Chinn, Fowler, etc really had a market, they would have been signed by now.

Re: The Washington Commanders Thread
And as soon as I hit send, Tunsil gets traded lol. There's your blindside tackle.
So now Coleman moves inside, which is an upgrade in itself. Looks like a 3rd rounder this year, future 2nd and 4th for Tunsil and a 4th.

That's actually a great deal.

Wow. We definitely needed a left tackle. With that hole filled we can go BPA in the draft without having to reach to fill that need.
