Sweat off the board too. This is all way less fun when your team isn't participating, even if the contacts have been insane.

Last year they agreed to terms with both Jacobs and X on the first day.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Josh Sweat (gone)
Malcolm Koonce
Azeez Ojulari
Chase Young

are the top pass rushers still available and at the perfect age for Gutey. Hopefully we can land at least one of them.

If we don't get any of these guys and just hope the guys we have on the roster/draft are the answer, I fear that's going to be our undoing again next year.

Pass rushers:
Malcolm Koonce
Azeez Ojulari
Chase Young

Corners:
Charvarius Ward
Byron Murphy

Safeties:
Jevon Holland

These are the best, young defensive players still out there. I don't think we sign Holland, as much as I love him don't see us paying that much for another safety. Unless there is some trade out there (i.e. Hendrickson) I think these are the only chances we have at improving our defense outside of the draft.

Sweat to AZ?

The Eagles star pass-rusher is headed to Arizona after agreeing to terms on a four-year deal, $76.4 million deal that includes $41 million in guaranteed money, according to ESPN.

Bears reaping the benefit of having a QB on a rookie deal. Something we couldn't do with Love.

Slaton was a disappointment here. No surprise he's gone.

Pretty reasonable but I'm guessing Gute is looking at this deep DT draft class and seeing potential replacements there.

He was a late fifth round pick and was generally pretty solid. Not sure how he was a disappointment lol

Every year, we'd get a rush of "TJ Slaton is destroying guys in training camp! He's going to have a monster year!" stories only for him to be a significantly-below-average DL. PFF had his 2024 at a 45.3 grade, which is 177th out of 219 DLs.

We need a Golden Girls II starring Zach Wilson.
