Too bad Miami lost. I could've had one night dreaming of winning the lottery.

He still gets open looks. That’s what makes the signing even worse.

The roster AND coaching can be terrible at the same time.

Until they put a roster around Paolo, Suggs, and Franz I can’t assess how Mose is doing as a coach. Clearly the pieces don’t match.

-9 in offensive rebounds and shooting under 30% from three isn't going to get it done on any night

You can’t assess how he doesn’t use his challenges when the play is clear as day and his star is begging for it?

KCP last year with Denver
Combined Wide Open (no defender within 6 feet) and Open (no defender 4-6 feet) 3PT Attempts: 3.7 per game

KCP this year with Orlando
Combined Wide Open (no defender within 6 feet) and Open (no defender 4-6 feet) 3PT Attempts: 3.8 per game

He's just bricking.

And it's not like his shooting touch has completely disappeared from everywhere.

Career high (by a wide margin actually) 59% from 2PT.

86.6% from the FT line.

The freaking guy is shooting 55.2% on short middys and 53.6% on long middys!

His 3PT shot has just disappeared and it's completely perplexing.

This is essentially the same roster as last year's 47 win team is it not?

The fact that they haven't played great defense or great on the glass for months is the far bigger concern.

The message isn't getting through anymore.

And if that can all be explained away by Suggs (and to a lesser extent Moritz) then Mosley needs to go anyway because your whole thing can't collapse missing two role players when you still have two max contract guys playing 38 MPG.

I've got to believe that Weltman AND Mose were in on this defense-first roster build (defense only?). If both realized the error of their ways - I'd be down for a busy summer. If a new FO comes in, they'll likely hire their own coach.

The irony of a Weltman press conference announcing that they're moving on from Mose would be nauseating.

We need infinitely more three point specialists on this team (we have none)

Controlling the defensive glass is mostly effort over skill.

And it's a coach's job to get his team to play with appropriate effort, heart, pride, whatever way you want to describe it.

The Magic don't have that anymore.

If someone has to tell you to play with effort, you shouldn’t be playing basketball. I just can’t blame Mose for the bench sucking, the inability to rebound, and the inability to make a shot. These are not coaching issues.

I've seen it with my own eyes too. Lots of open shots...but how does it happen to EVERYBODY on the team?

Part of me thinks its the mental part of being on a team that struggles to shoot 3's

When your teammates make 3's, players feel more confident to make 3s. The visualizing. aka this would require us overhauling acquiring more than just 1 player to make the fix.

Not an excuse, but trying to understand why this phenomenon keeps happening. We need volume 3 pt shooters who can shoot off the dribble on this team.

If you're a coach and you can't get your players to play with effort, that is 100% no questions asked on you as the coach.

That is like the bare minimum thing a coach needs to be able to do.
