Rest the rest of the season? Absolutely not if he’s healthy enough to play. These are crucial games for his development. We have what 17 games left? Hopefully he misses two weeks at most.

lol Giddey is definitely coming back .

People want to demise so bad. Remember when people were saying Coby was going to miss 2 weeks with his thumb. He missed no games lol

Last time Giddey rolled his ankle and it was worse than this, he missed 4 games.

I'd be surprised if Giddey settled for 22 million a year on his next deal. Keep in mind that Patrick Williams got a 5 year deal at 18 million per.

Are you more optimistic or more concerned about how AKME will evaluate the situation?

Very, VERY concerned.

Huerter is shooting better from three since he joined the Bulls but his overall FG% is .363. That's not good.

He's under contract next year for a little under 18 million, so the Bulls might have no choice but to keep him.

It’s actually disgusting to see thinly veiled hope that his season is over just so we lose more.

Why would that end any talk of making the playoffs and picking 15th? The Bulls are still making the play-in regardless and there's plenty of time for Giddey to come back.

Donovan said sprained ankle for Giddey. No mention of severity. I’m thinking not too bad.

Nets beat the Lakers and Raptors also won, so not much changed in terms of seeding.

This team has actually become fun to watch and their confidence is sky high. 3 in a row now, whole team played well but Coby and Giddey stood out once again. Vuc would be really good off the bench but doubt he stays there for long. If Giddey misses time they’ll probably go back to losing again.

Some hot takes Giddey trade was a rip off in favor of the bulls, AC was just a role player who was often injured, Giddey is becoming something a lot better and is young.

Tre Jones, Huerter, Collins > Zach Lavine. Especially when others stepped in to fill in for Zach’s scoring.

Tre Jones > Ayo. Tre has a higher basketball IQ and is more effective.

We clearly won the trade. I doubt OKC cares too much right now though. Might look really bad in a couple seasons though. Like when the Thunder chose that shot blocking stiff over Harden.

Eh, it doesn't matter about the teams below us in the lottery, the Bulls aren't moving lower than 8th. However, the teams above the Bulls are what you should watch, the Bulls already have more wins than San Antonio and aren't too far behind Portland either.

Yep. The Spurs lost today, so the Bulls went from the 8th pick to the 9th.

You can add the Heat on this list because they have 29 wins. Bulls could pass them too (but hopefully not).

It's crazy that the Bulls front office don't see the value in getting a high draft pick.

Wow, I didn't realise SA had moved below the Bulls, so already at 9th, I could definitely see the Bulls picking 11th (again) if they don't make the playoffs.

It’s crazy you don’t see the value in a 23 year old playing like a legit star. I’ll take Giddey’s rise now over a CHANCE at a higher pick.

I think the Bulls will get up to the 7th seed if Giddey stays healthy.

Lol.. AK is all proud and smiles watching these wins. Three wins is more than enough sample size for AK to declare this team is the new core.

I'm glad Giddey is doing well. I'm not against that.

However, I do think the team needs more talent and to get it they need better draft picks.

Is your takeaway from the season going to be that Giddey improved, got a 30+ million a year contract, and the Bulls drafted a mid-level talent with the 10th pick? Because that's where it seems to be headed.

Then next year where does Giddey lead the team? Another 30 something wins?

This franchise suffered enough of Nikola Mirotic and Killpatrick legends around here. I am glad you are fan of another one. Hope it makes you very happy and fullfilled because it makes me only puke
