Games like this where the opponent is obsessed with denying Steph the ball and then force it out of his hands with doubles are important.

I wasn’t that high on Clingan prior to the draft but I underestimated just how big he is. He’s 2 humans worth of flesh out there.

Its so refreshing having a #2 and not being stuck wondering who is gonna step up if Steph cannot. But its even more refreshing not having endless guys expecting minutes the last two years. Guys frustrated about role and playing time. Endless lineup changes and guys on short leashes. The young guys finally have some runway to just play.

Watching Quentin play reminds me that Wiseman really should have stayed in college, learned the intracies of the game. Mature physically and mentally before coming to the NBA.

The team's FT shooting percentage since Butler arrived has been a pleasant surprise. 19/21 FT tonight (90.5%). I think they've had a couple of games with Butler where they shot as low as 79%, which is still a touch above league average. Moody is now shooting 90.6% FT% with Butler playing (88.6% if you add in the Sixers game).

The only thing that slows down Steph is approaching a milestone. I was not surprised he started missing. I expect he will struggle next game.

I dont think i’ve seen GSW play a regular season game that well since 2016. It reminded me if the Iggy Barbosa Livingston fast break Warriors where the role players seemed to always be playing well.
