It’s crazy how jokic is having a godlike season the guy is averaging a triple double, almost 30 ppg shooting 50/40/80 as a Center and he still might not win the mvp. I really want Shai to win it because Canada, but jokic is having the best season of his career. Unbelievable. The guy is putting up numbers that would put him in goat category.

Was watching Raps game then realized Celtics Lakers playing. Jalen Brown picks Luka clean leading to Horford dunk.

Not sure which team Doris will gush over more

JV needs to shoot that. I like old man Harden's game better than when he was younger.

I never noticed this till I heard it in the GSW Portland game. There's only one South American player in the NBA, a scrub named Gui Santos from Brazil on the Dubs. More international players than ever this season, but Argentina and Brazil have fallen off the radar.

Isn’t Paolo Banchero originally from Brazil and USA just stole him?

Maybe I missed that part, but he is an American that also has Italian citizenship, so not sure how Brazil would fit in there.

Even if true, think of the great or good Argentinian players that played in the NBA this century , now there are none. They had a "greatest generation" come through and now nothing.

But I have no idea if there's another wave in their pipeline coming up. You'd think the Ginobili generation would have inspired more.

Wow...Temple on The Raptors Show saying that he spoke to Bruce Brown the other day and Brown was saying how much he missed being around our guys. Temple said it's the best lockerroom he has been a part of...all are very close.

Fwiw, I hope Temple stays in the organization. His relationships with the kids is perfect for player development.

I love SGA and have said many times I hope we are tampering with him. And I will get crucified for this because he's Canadian but some of his foul-bating is disgustingly shameful. Not as bad as Embiid or Harden, but it's almost as bad as Brunson. They both do the head snap-back thing that NHLers started doing years ago. SGA had one the other night that was Oscar worthy, and of course he got the call.

The thing is Trae Young used to jump sideways or backwards into defenders, Harden too. Until the rules changed. SGA and Brunson don't do that. They get a step on the defender then slow down and the guy bumps them from behind. But they don't take an unnatural path to create contact, they just change pace. I don't call it foul baiting like Trae used to do

Every so often I can't believe he's Canadian.

Statement win by OKC, playing without Williams and Caruso. Hopefully it was such a good display the NBA won't feel they have to rig the Lakers over OKC

I thought Shai was pretty good coming out of Kentucky but never thought he'd reach this level of play. Props to him for continually working on his game and making the most of his physical gifts to get where he is now. Might be the greatest Canadian player ever at this point.

Jazz fined for sitting Laurie too much.

Will Raps or any other teams get fined? $100k not much deterrent anyway

Hella empty gesture against an NBA team, but I guess at least they're doing it.

he's been great, but we'll likely need his and Boucher's roster spot for our two draft picks

Return to Toronto Raptors
