Nice reading a post game thread that's not just 15 pages of a couple of salty KAT haters wanking each other.

Great win!

34 assists and 40 3PT attempts hit at 55% clip. So beautiful. With a more creative offensive coach we could see this every night.

Would like to see Brunson get back to using his superhero power to get his teammates more involved in the offense. Cap'n Clutch can easily get his when the teams need his scoring.

How was Mitch I missed the game

Also OG is amazing!!

Mitch looked super spry but his timing isn't back yet. He skied for a goal tend one play and clobbered DeRozan on a block on another play. Box score shows negative stats. Real life shows intimidation and a player who's not quite back yet.

OG looked like he was about to fall down by the end. He killed it.

To be fair Thibs did the same with Randle. He tends to let his star players do whatever they want. Thibs is a big tough guy with everyone else though.
Exacrly. Thibs isn't coaching offence. He's letting hisbstars do what they will a la Warriors but he doesn't have the natural ball movers GSW has.

This all reinforces my ultimate point. Thibs needs to go.

This team has some serious offensive potential.

They're going to be contenders with a modern coach.

Great team win last night. Everyone did their part and the ball movement was excellent.

Something this team really has to think about is whether they can be a contender while having 2 negative defenders in the starting lineup with JB and Towns. You can see the difference it makes having Deuce in the starting lineup on the defensive end over JB. I don't want to trade Brunson, so what do we do?

that is the ultimate long term conundrum. does playing Kat at the 4 next to a defensive big help? probably but also hurts the offense a lot too. you see it with the bench lineup also when JB sits, the defense is a lot better even with Kat at the 5.

Coaches normally avoid confronting their star players. Have you ever seen a coach yell at Lebron?
Tyronn Lue did and got Lebrin respect for it.

No matter what they won't be able to escape the pick and roll between JB and Town's men. You can make up for 1 bad defender but not 2.

You trade KAT. Hart goes to the bench. You bring in a modern coach (Bryant or Hurley?) and you see the team make a Cleveland like jump next season.
