Its QB. I cant see them passing on QB at 3 if SS is there. If they do that I will be highly surprised.

Agreed. I think if Ward or SS is on the board, they won't pass that up. Especially if we also have a bridge QB.

The concern is those guys won't be there.

Correct I think right or wrong Ward or Sanders will be the pick but they are picking 3rd and both teams above them need QB's...so it might be out of our hands outside of drafting Dart.

I would have a real issue drafting Dart over Abdul Carter. I would have less of an issue drafting Sanders over Carter (still would prefer Carter) but I know they need a QB in the room so I can live with it.

If both QB's go 1-2 how about going Carter and then making a trade for Milton. Pats are open to moving him. At least that would give us an interesting developing piece. I just don't think you can go Dart at #3 that would be wild to me.

Loved McKinney and it hurts to see him balling out somewhere else. That being said the deal less money than McKinney and it’s someone with a fresh start. McKinney unfortunately was clashing with the organization, came off the ATV broken arm, etc.

I would’ve liked to see us retain homegrown talent but we did get a really talented safety who is only 25 and is on a cheaper contract

yeah I'm not sure...process is kinda backwards...they did offer McKinney a deal and he turned it down along with Barkley. So they did value them to some extent but I think the ATV accident and him lying about it put a rift between the franchise and McKinney...can't be a leader and doing that on a bye week. Also with the cap going up the value of Holland contract is lower per year than McKinney.

But its a tough sell job to say Slayton and Holland for roughly around the same money is better than Barkley and McKinney.

haven't heard jalen milroe in a while so it sounds like he's fallen off the radar. i wouldn't mind taking a swing on him in the 2nd or something

Well, he was a bit of a disaster for the throwing portion of the combine.

I would still take a flyer on him in later rounds, but as Richardson proved in Indy, you need your QB to be able to throw the ball even a little bit.

i dont think he'd be there in the later rounds though.

but yeah i agree, obviously he'd be developmental but at this point when we're going past the first 2, they all are. seeing jaxson dart throwing against air when he couldn't do it in games isn't inspiring me either

There is a legit scenario though that Ward and Sanders go 1-2.

Look at the teams that are bad that need QB's....Titans and Browns still don't have a legit future or starting QB (they both have yet to do anything to improve the QB room). No I don't think Kenny Picket changes anything for the browns.

You have to brace for the real chance they are both off the board. In that situation do you just go Dart?

I said this...
If SS is there at 3

nah im passing on dart at 3. SS and Ward are mocked at the top so I can deal with a flame out there. Dart is barley in consideration for 1st round.

Milroe is super ass imo. His accuracy is some of the worst I have seen in a while. Physical Profile can match Cam Ward, but everything else is buns....

clowns.

Dude wins the super bowl and then got the biggest bag.

Slayton is a bum, im sorry. he is a super mid WR.

Deez we are screwed man.lol.

The Giants have become the Knicks since Dolan took charge.

Sad.

Yea, it's sad. Almost every decision seems wrong. Just expecting another wasted season

If we compare all moves to the Daniel Jones/Saquon debacle then yeah, we’re screwed. But independently speaking, none of these contracts are egregiously off. I especially like the Holland pickup.

I would take a shot at Joe Milton (trade) before I take a shot at Milroe...his throwing is very questionable.

So how I see it.

Winning organization - steelers

offensive scheme, and comfortability (just bought a mansion in NJ in driving distance to stadium) might favor Giants.

Arthur Blank is a run heavy OC...I wonder if Rodgers would prefer Daboll's system. Steelers are better. Also he wouldn't have to mvoe...maybe he value's that at 41...who knows.

wonder where the money comes in for both teams.

They have Drake Maye and they just signed Dobbs to be there backup QB. No point to carry a guy like Milton as a 3rd strong QB if you can get some decent draft capital. Shouldn't cost a 3....but maybe a 4th rounder to take a shot.

If Ward and Sanders goes 1/2 and Carter is sitting there at 3...I would be interested in maybe trading a 4th or something for a shot at him just so that we can get a developmental QB in the org. It was one game vs a lot of backups but there were def some flashes.

Are there any reports saying the Steelers actually want Rodgers? Tomlin always stresses that he wants mobility from the quarterback and that isn't Rodgers anymore.

If he's truly choosing between us and PIT, then I don't think the money is even. Especially when it is very dubious that they will give Rodgers more than, or even equal to, what they wouldn't give Fields.

Would Rodgers just be using the Steelers as leverage. There are rumors that Rodgers would go to Giants but more as last resort because he wants to win but who knows.

Steelers brought in DK and he has a relationship with Wilson...who knows.

this was as of last night a lot of momentum to Steelers...but Giants seem to be still in it and giving him time to figure out his situation.
