Westside Gunn wrote:I watched the tape and I noticed its just a hot hand from the 3 point line not really a mixed inside outside game. Curryball makes a bunch of these guards play streaky.

Now if he follows up with another 20 piece, that's another story.

Yup...shooters are streaky.

7-14 yesterday from 3, 2-16 the previous 2 games

For him, to be able to have that type of game at home in Toronto, playing for the Raps, is a memory he will have forever and no one can take it away.

Gotta like our 3rd tier depth playing well. Who knows if they are here in the future but hopefully it continues into next year.

Were they supposed to bench Lawson for playing too well?

Yes. They are already pulling BS tank job. Why not go all the way?

Yep, I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that we'll end up 7th and then fall to the 8th pick in the draft through the lottery.

If we happen to get some lottery luck and move up into the top 4, great, but it's not something anyone should lose sleep over, even if we finished 4th or 5th. A lottery is a lottery.

Let's trade the pick if that has no value to us. Either way we should get a C out of it.

Why would it have no value to us? It would still be the second highest draft pick the team has had in the past decade.

since jan 11, 27 games (14-13), we now have the 6th best drtg at 111.3. this is 42% of the season.

post all star, 10 games (5-5), we are 8th at 110.9.

Something to build on going forward, for sure. Nice to see. Perhaps not the most timely way for it to happen, but defense is important and valuable.

Because people are acting like that's the case. The league is going real big again. The draft is not top heavy in big men. There are 2 that might work for us in the 5-8 range. Alternatively we could draft a PG and try and trade to get a C. Where e are at now requires balancing out roster and pruning. A consolidation move might be good for us. I'm not one who is thinking much changes with the 8th pick. That's Dick or Ross territory. At best you might dream of a DeRozan type outcome which is still not even a ticket to the Conference finals. We have plenty of filler material on this team. We need big man depth. That's my reasoning.

Can't believe the farce of an nba schedule... we will be hard pressed not to make Play in...

Return to Toronto Raptors
