Most NBA usually give the ball to their best scorer and let him go to work in crunch time. I really don’t have a problem with giving Brunson the ball at the end of a close game. I trust him to make the right play. He usually does. It’s the rest of the game. Too much dribbling.

That's unequivocally false. Ppl don't run their last 5 mins in a close game offense with nonstop ISOs for their best player. Or even 2 mins really. Look at the best teams. They run actual plays. We don't.

And we are basically the best crunch time team in the nba with a great record in close games and also have the best clutch player in the nba that other teams don’t have. There’s zero indication that running plays is better than what we do

Redick has a number of veteran former head coaches on staff. Ty Lue has JVG. But would Thibs even want an assistant like that, say an offensive guru to put in an offense?
