One of the best takes on SS ability to QB.

We at a point in the fandom where being able to draft him is a bad thing. People look for every excuse why we shouldn’t vs why we should.

Best news we have gotten in a while. Barkley /McKinney leaving not in vain lol

So we've got 5 picks in the top 105. Not bad if Schoen can get it right like he did with last year's draft.

Yeah we need a QB but the last time we reached for a QB we got burnt. I'd rather take Hunter at 3 and try to trade back into the first to grab a development QB. This isn't a one year fix, we probably are gonna draft top 10 again, and this is why Mara boxing us into a corner by not firing Schoen and Daboll is utterly stupid. We aren't making the playoffs regardless of who we draft or sign at QB.

Be careful what you talking about. Who is to say Carter or Hunter isn’t a reach. We can’t assume QB is the reach and the others not. You speak as if the others are the safe bets when in reality they not.

There have been a few reaches in recent drafts at both corner and defense end. **** look at KT that was huge reach for us.

Walker from the jags ….and they took him over Hutchinson.

So I say all of that to say…. In reality they are not safer picks than QB.

Hunter can be the reach, and it turns out will Johnson is the better and who we should have picked.

I’m not going to assume anything with any player.

It don’t matter who you pick. You have to hope you get it right with who ever.

Im not gonna short change one position for the other when the other positions don’t guarantee anything either.

I'm not short changing any position, my position has been that we should take the best player available regardless of position or need because we need elite talent badly. Right now all we have is Dex and Malik.

If you're saying Shedeur is a higher ceiling option over Carter or Hunter, that's fine. It's a crap shoot and all of this is based on potential.

Having watched both Shedeur and Hunter play multiple times, while I like Shedeur, i think Hunter is the more talented prospect and I don't want to pass him up if he's available at 3.

The racist dudes that are spreading nasty narratives about him will never acknowledge that clip.

Wherever team shedeur lands on I’m gonna be rooting for him. I can’t wait to see him prove everyone wrong.

no offense taken...my tier 1 prospects are Cam Ward and Abdul Carter. Won't apologize for that. Its just what I believe. I'm not a scout.

I would be fine with Sanders at #3, I just like Ward better but I know we won't be able to sit at #3 and be able to select Ward. I don't want Dart at #3.

Try to trade up to #1 to get Ward (if that is too pricey meaning 2026 1st hang up the phone)
Stay at #3 and pick Sanders

If Ward an Sanders go 1/2 then I would probably just take Carter at #3...but that is probably doomsday scenario for the Giants current regime because who is playing QB?

They are pretty desperate for a QB and if Rodgers goes to Steelers they will be even more desperate for a QB. I don't want Russell Wilson at all.

We may not have a choice, since the wind seems to be blowing the wrong way on Rodgers. Let's see how creative Schoen can get.

A trade (Milton or Richardson)....or a FA like Flacco or Winston I would prefer. I think Wilson is as cooked as cooked can get. Look at the end of the year passing numbers

158
128
217
205
148

yeah...Imma pass on that unless we want to score under 20ppg again. Also Wilson in cringe and I don't think he would be a good mentor to the rookie QB either. He also makes a ton of business decisions now because I think he is preparing for his after playing days career. He wouldn't be invested in this team.

Should we have gone after Darnold or Fields?

I agree about Wilson. He looked cooked in those games for the Steelers.

Shedeur caught flack from them for even mentioning that Brady is the person who he looks up to, as if he was saying "I'm the next Tom Brady", which wasn't even remotely his point. People have the knives out for him.

If we grab Shedeur at 3, I won't be upset even though I'd prefer to take Hunter if he's there, but I am worried about him (Shedeur) playing here for 3 reasons:

1) This offensive line is barely average at best with full health, and every time Andrew Thomas gets hurt, the line falls apart. Shedeur has a tendency to hold the rock to try to make something happen and he might end up getting hurt

2) I think he needs to sit and learn for a year. He's a smart kid so i think he'll do well in the classroom and pick things up quickly. The fanbase right now is not in a good headspace. If he gets thrown to the wolves early and isn't ready, it's gonna get ugly in the media.

3) Schoen and Daboll are desperate and that never bodes well. Also, Daboll's development track record is awful and Shedeur absolutely needs development time.

If we can trade back and get Shedeur plus another asset, I wouldn't mind. That would be a good scenario.

 perfect answer

I'm not necessarily ok with Jameis either.

Who else is available? Cousins? Minshew?

From what I read, his run blocking is decent but he's a turnstile in pass pro due to how slow his feet are.

Oh well.
