Looks like there's a ton of incentives built in. It's likely just a 2-year deal at most. He can still be a productive player when healthy.

Yup. Most likely is a 2/18 deal.

Also who knows, it maybe even more team friendly than that. I don't know Seattle's cap situation at this moment. But they could've even front load this thing where the majority of that 18 mil guaranteed is in year 1 (say like 12 mil). And that basically just turns it into a 1 year deal, with a tiny dead cap hit the next year or two.

Just like the Jonathan Allen contract. At first glance it was a 3/60 deal. Once the details came out, it essentially is a 2/31 deal.

Yeah, a lot of these initial numbers are just smoke & mirrors. When a report says, "worth up to". That means more than likely there are heavy incentives that he has to reach. The amount of guaranteed money is really the only number that truly matters.

Fwiw Darnold's contract is essentially 2 years, $55m.

Shanahan should've just taken him instead of Lance.

Fields was the pick at that spot

After Kyle revives Mac Jones Seahawks will probably give him a 100m contract to make him the bridge-to-bridge-to-bridge quarterback :)

Darnold may already be a bridge too far.

Murray is a former 1st round bust (Chargers). He was PFF's 169th rated LB last season. Not so great.

I think that’s what Jerry is trying to do, trick fans into getting excited that they are bringing in former 1st round busts.

14 years with the same team. Has taken team friendly deals almost his entire career and is a future HOF.

Top 3 favorite Viking of all time. I hate to say this though, dude probably deserved a better franchise than being this good and loyal to this curses of a franchise.
