There has been a lot of discourse on the GB for Thibs running guys into the ground, which is his reputation.

Lots of Knicks fans deny it is even true, well Bridges now speaking out publicly about it.

For reference...

Hart and Bridges lead the NBA at 37.8 MPG. OG is 6th in the NBA at 36.6 MPG. Brunson in the top 20 at 35.4 MPG before his injury. KAT clocking in at 35.1 MPG.

OMG, how dare they have to play 36 out of 48 minutes!

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Ya I praised Thibs for helping turn around the Knick culture his first couple seasons but I just can't expect this core to sustain optimal production in the playoffs after carrying such a heavy load in the regular season. I worry especially for an undersized guard like Brunson having his prime cut short because of consecutive seasons of "overuse".

Unbelievable with this guy. He acts like he leads the league in minutes, or his teammate does.

Pathetic.

Knicks bench isn’t exactly loaded. I’m sure he could chop some minutes during blowouts either direction, but for the most part, this seems like what they likely need to do to win at a high clip.

Missing the green font? Can't tell if serious or sarcasm...

Seeing as he does lead the league in minutes played this season, and has played in every game, I don't think his request is entirely unjustified or unreasonable. Three of the five starters on the Knicks are top 10 in minutes played.

They don't make em like they used to.

Go look at Stockton and Malone's minutes while playing 82 virtually every year lol.

Players don’t really practice anymore either. Playing 35 mpg 2-3x per week shouldn’t be a big deal.

This generation is ridiculous
