The bench is a good place for him. Sometimes just watching will slow the game down for him.....hopefully. :)

To be honest I'm disappointed with him. I thought he'd be better. That said I do think he has real talent and will be a very good player.

Lets hope we are really good in 5 and 6 years from now so that those draft picks don't turn into anything good.
Because that trading for Dillingham looks awful right now.
By the time he develops he's gonna be on his 2nd contract.

Great win! Our bench is huge, Ant is definitely playing smarter, Julius play like an All Star, Donte bring so much, Jaden is great, Mike look 10 years younger… so exciting! Wolves back!

This is the kind of win that can give a guy hope.
Nice to see this kind of 4 quarter effort against a really good team.

A lot went right for us tonight.
Refs let both teams be physical, Jaden And Julius were hitting their 3 pointers, and before garbage time Denver was just 5/26 from deep.
We seem to have the defensive formula for slowing down Denver's offense (which has been absolutely shredding the rest of the league). Be physical with Jokic and make him go one on one. Don't overhelp and give him easy passes.
Force it to their weaker players and make them beat you one on one. Clog the paint and make them beat you with corner threes.

Denver is pretty bad defensively without Aaron Gordon right now.

We gave up too many easy layups tonight to Murray and Westbrook, but the effort in closing out on shooters and defensive rebounding was excellent, playoff-level.

Rudy isn't close to being Rudy yet. I hope he still isnt playing hurt.

Julius had some frustratingly sloppy turnovers, but the beast mode on the offensive end and the physicality guarding Jokic were much needed. It's the same formula that KAT used to wear Jokic down in the playoffs last year.

I don't know what Malone was thinking letting Jokic play the first 19 minutes of the 2nd half with a double digit deficit the whole time. that's the kind of crap that made them run out of gas in games 6 and 7 last year.

You could tell right away we were the team that was fresh and had energy.
Dante is the energizer bunny out there and always in the right place at the right time it seems.

When we win a game with Luka Garza on the floor… the other team got, got. Naz had 8 points on 7 shoots, NAW had 3 on 3 shots, and DDV had 10 on 10 shots. 3 very important players shot poorly and we won by 20 with a lot of garbage time. Oh, and we held them under 100. That is a dominant road win against a good Nuggets team. The 2nd on a row.

We went into the 4th leading 89 to 75. 14 instead of 15, better than 12 either way

Great win, at the same time DEN is without Gordon and also missed a lot of open 3s. The next time may not be as easy. With this win, we have a good chance for a 48 win season

Clark (23), TSJ (24) are ahead of him right now and seems to have better basketball IQ. Dilly is 20 years old, so, need to give him a couple years. At least we see flashes of brilliant ( unlike WM jr). I think he will show significant improvement next year but not sure if he could help in this year's playoff.

I agree. I think the only players from bench who may see the field in PO (others than garbage or injuries) will be TSJ and Clark.
We will go for a 8 man rotation most of the times.

I agree with younggunsmn - the most impressive thing about this game was a full 48 minutes of playoff-intensity focus.

It's amazing how the narrative had changed in less than a season. DDV is playing good D and scoring too. Randle is fitting in better. He seems to start finding that sweet spot of when to shoot or pass. Just need to work on his lob pass.

There is a reason why Wolves insisted to add DDV to the deal...he is a good scoring guard and he is on amazing value contract. He had slow start to season but I was optimistic his shooting percentages would be back to his normal level
