It's March 13th, on a West Coast trip, missing our best player... This was a great opportunity for other guys to step up and sharpen up via larger roles. It was a great teaching moment, and confidence builder, for future tight games.

Damn near feels like every game goes to OT.

Here we are just fans and we all can see it. Thibs is holding this team back from it's full potential

The issue is whether or not the FO has the will to make a change in the off-season, because it is possible they will let the talent of the team and its decent W-L record be the determining factor, not the obvious need for better coaching.

Difficult to do when the head coach thinks you can't create your own shot, and has you stuck in the corner on every offensive possession.

It’s just not usually his position on the court. Brunson is usually there and towns also likes to shoot from the top of the key and they’re usually the top options.

OG has really taken that 3rd option role but maybe Mikal needs to be getting more touches and OG save more energy for defense. But he wants his shots too. Just hard to keep everyone involved sometimes when we have so many options

Not saying that he would be the best choice but I checked out Dan Hurley’s offensive sets and I think all our guys can thrive there and get their opportunities.

A good coach makes everyone understand their roles. Thibs with his laissez-faire, free for all system is just letting mayhem run amok. Hence why the offense looks a mess unless we’re beating up bad teams and it trickles into the defense because no one is communicating.

facts, he got away with spam iso with Brunson and Randle. Now he really has to coach and draw up schemes and plays and he's getting exposed as he does in the playoffs.

imagine Mikal and KAT two man game both from the top of the key or from the side/elbow and you have Brunson, OG and McBride waiting for a kick out if that PnR has any chance to be stopped

anyone....did you know who Joe Mazzulla or Mark daigneault was before they got jobs. They run circles around our old man.

Unfortunately there's a possibility that "anyone" includes coaches like this:

but I'm glad I watched this one

It was satisfying (even if we did lose), but it was a real high to win it with Bridges being the magic man. Classic stuff

Dan Hurley, Johnnie Bryant, Jay Wright… I’m sure there are other bright minds on NBA benches right now as assistants that can shine as head coaches. We should be scouting them right now.
