He is shooting 37.4% which is tied for 3rd worst in the entire league.

What is surprising, is that Jerami Grant is even worse at 37.3%

I think he might be the only guy that can compete with Pat with the worst contract.

Fun fact: Lonzo Ball is shooting 36.6% lol

Yeah Jerami always wasn't the most talented guy, a 2nd rounder, and heavily relied on elite athleticism. He's now in his 11th season, a lot of miles on him. He's going to decline quite naturally for a 2nd round roleplayer at this point.

Patrick is 23...no idea what's going on with him. Other than maybe the new pace is just too much for him to process, which was already struggling under the load last year when we were one of the league's slowest teams.

I seen enough, the information is out there and it's not good. At this point, I just need the Bulls roster to get talented enough to the point I forget Williams is on the team. We could be at that point now if Donovan was willing to play Smith at the four.

Pat needs to drop the muscle and lbs he added after his rookie season. He was much more fluid with that body type. Go back and look at his rookie highlights; he looks completely different.

Being high suggestible and being forced to play PF and Small Ball centre hasnt done him any favours as far as muscle gain is concerned.

*just did go back and watch some rookie season highlights and I know highlights are exactly that but he seems less passive in his rookie season.

And is still leaps and bounds better than Pwill despite not playing for 3 years and coming off a hail Mary surgery.

Reminds me of the whole Lauri mistake with him bulking up. To be fair to Pat, IIRC, he talked about wanting to play SF last season and get leaner, but I think the whole foot issue really set him back this season.

What is the Bulls' fault (although I can't really blame them since we say the same thing) was pushing Pat to be aggressive and looking for his shot on offense. I think we all learned that Pat neither has the handles to be dribbling in the paint, nor does he have particularly good finishing ability. Given that it will be hard to trade him, I think they need to get him to figure out what he can do and take the other stuff out of his game...which to me is. Focus on losing weight, go back to just taking 3's and pulling up on floaters in the paint instead of attacking the rim.

Yep. Pat needs to be lean and light. He needs to give 15 lbs to Buz.

KC says Bulls see Pat Buz and Giddey as cornerstones.

Think that’s just to not hurt Pat’s feelings.

I'm just not sure he's learned how to play basketball yet. He consistently makes bad choices. The rebounding is just beyond weird. He just looks out of sync

Cornerstone roleplayer maybe. He's currently tracking to be on par with

Deanthony Melton: 11 ppg 4.5 rpg @ 23 yrs old
PJ Washington: 10 ppg 5 rpg @ 23 yrs old

Pat is not a hooper.

Just a job.

Doesn’t love the game.
Doesn’t know how to play it.

We all know tht AK's command of the language isn't great. Maybe he adds "things you are stuck with" as part of the definition of cornerstone.

He is dumb enough to believe that. Fits what he said about winning with 9 "good" players.

Crap like that makes it hard to be a fan.
Maybe he meant Pat plays like he's stoned and should just stand in the corner.

I think part of it is weight gain due to inactivity (due to injury)

He should stop playing right now and spend the next 6 months fully healing and getting into perfect shape. Anything short of that will continue the trend he's on.

To be a bit Fair he had no off-season, then got hurt so it's extremely hard to get into a rhythm that way. But I know it's put up or shut up time for him now that he got that extension.

exactly. Lonzo is awesome and has been through a lot. Citing a guy who, frankly I think it's a miracle he can still play basketball, in comparison to Pat seems like a poor take. Pat is nobody. He hasn't done a single thing in the league besides become one of the richest men who has ever lived. they could've paid me that contract and received the same performance, except I would do better dance moves on the bench and I would not look like I'm about to break into tears every time the camera panned to me warming the bench.

Professional bench warmer seems like a miserable job actually despite the high wages, I guess I feel sorry for Pat. But then I feel sorry for myself that they re-signed him. Maybe they meant to "resign" him, fire him, but perhaps AK's english is not so good yet.the egomaniac talks about how great he is at all of the languages though. start learning chinese, buddy, does that joke apply to GMs or only over-the-hill players? can he go be a GM in shandong and not chicago? I wouldn't put that on the people of Northeast China actually.
