Nice defense on that last play you REMOVED - Moonbeam, down 2 and going under the screen lol. This is why you tank this season, because there's stars at the top of the draft. Epic malpractice. Cronin really is a moron. These are not smart people getting paid a lot of money to be really bad at their jobs. Our best defender goes out and Billups puts Ant on him???

Oh and it's bad enough we have to deal with the lakers douche bags at home games where it literally sounds like a lakers home game, but now we have enough transplants here now, we have the second worst fans in the league TAKING OVER THE ARENA-- KNICKS FANS?????

I understand being frustrated, but do not use "autistic" in a derogatory manner.

Shaedon is clearly on the spectrum, which isn't a bad thing... I'm on the spectrum too ffs. It's like using the n word if you're black or the f word if you're gay.

I'm on the spectrum too! But we don't know that Shaedon is, and you used it in conjunction with a curse word which adds a negative connotation. Please don't do that.

First of all, no they absolutely and 100% cannot use those words on this board.

Secondly, it was not used in a self-affirming way but in a "put someone else down" type of way. I think for any adult that is an easy distinction to understand but its 2025 and I cant believe reality sometimes, the way some people talk about others continues to astound me.

Sell the team you nasty ogre and give this city the team it deserves. 3 billion wasn't enough money??? I guess it's not about that though right? if she sells the team she doesn't get to dip her claws into the honey pot. Instead of giving billions of dollars to cancer research, she needs another yacht maned by male strippers. What a disgusting person, that literally did nothing to deserve this wealth and hoards it to herself at the expense of the charities her brother wanted to give his fortune to. And shame on the NBA for not forcing a sell 6 years after Allens death.

Bro, take an edible.

Well, at least it's a step down from when he was talking about how she might be shot, I guess.

Six more games on this home stand with Boston, Cleveland and Denver in this home stand, followed by
a 5 game road swing. Unlikely they could finish 10-5 but hopefully Anthony Davis will return to the Mavs
to help them win a few games

WTH was that defense by Simons on Bridges?

Heck of a block by DC on OG to prevent an easy score

Is NY trying to give POR this game? Josh Hart with just a bonehead play.

Wow, Bridges is hitting that shot to win the game while Bert/Jodi/Joe looked on was a thing of beauty. I doubt it will change their minds any because they’re clearly delusional people, but this team doesn’t even have a Bridges…..yet

Knick fan here. I thought the game was yours as did a lot of knick fans, then Bridges hits the last second shot. Josh Hart made some errors. Thibs doesn't know how to use time outs or challenges. NY without Brunson is still an OK team, but hasn't put it together.

Most lead changes in a game all year (42).
Go Knicks!! Go Mets!!

As for the Jets . . . just keep it entertaining.

This was the ideal outcome, like with the Cavs game, play a good team close and barely lose.

I think we're going to lose our 1st round pick next year, so we better make this one count. I want to see Scoot and Sharpe starting next year. Simons is too erratic.

Simons is killing us. He'd be an ideal 6th man/energy guy off the bench given his potential to bring a spark off the bench. But geez he's constantly giving up huge nights on defense

Every quiet, introverted kid isnt on the freaking spectrum. Thats an absurd blanked to cover everyone with.

Shadeon might have a uncommon personality type for a pro athlete but it doesnt mean he is flipping autistic.

More importantly - Simons stinks.

It wouldn't matter if he was or not.

But I think he's just an introverted guy who's in his own world and that's okay. Everyone expects others to act like how they want them to act, and so many athletes get demands to be outgoing, extroverted, etc. Shaedon just isn't and that's okay.

Pretty much sums up their worth in relation to each other, not even mentioning the boards, assist, etc.

Deni is 24
Sharpe is 21
Simons in s 25

I'm not saying Deni is gonna turn into doncic but if anyone on this team makes an all star team I'd guess it's probably him or perhaps toumani

Sharpe really needs to get to the line more, would be nice to see him getting at least 5 fta nightly

Could add Scoot to your comparison too now, he's having a nice efficient game so far

Can we do both Deni and Camara on the all-star team :) is that greedy?

He is our tank commander! But damn, he needs to be out of the rotation by next year for sure.

NGL that one stung. Really thought we had it. I view the core as Deni/Sharpe/Scoot/Camara/Clingan, and all had great games. To come so close to a (meaningless) win and then fall short...

No Grant, and the team arguably plays better.

Of course, Case immediately blames Sharpe for "only" putting up a 21/9 performance instead of calling out Simons for putting up 6 points on 11 shots.

Was surprised but not disappointed that Thybulle and Timelord didn't get minutes. I like both players, but doubt that they are long-term pieces. Honestly fine if the Blazers offered to let Ayton, Grant, Thybulle, and Timelord take the rest of the season off. Sadly, that would probably improve our chances of winning.

And, yes. Losing 5 straight games is a pretty good way to miss the play-in. And other than trying to out-suck the Bulls and Spurs (and maybe the Suns), we're pretty much slotted in that 8-11 pick range. As always, draft the best player available. But I'm warming up to Asa Newell as the college season winds down.

I feel like the Knicks should be better than they are. They did a solid job building their roster, acquiring Towns, OG, Bridges, Hart, etc.

I don't see any way this team can come back into next season with Simons on the roster. Scoot is showing he's ready to take over and Simons just isn't consistent enough of a player to justify keeping Scoot on the bench for. This bandaid needs to be ripped off, even if that means practically giving Simons away for pennies on the dollar.

Insane stat brought out on sports radio today, the group of Scoot/Sharpe/Camara/Deni/Clingan have only played 83... TOTAL POSSESSIONS... all season. In 66 games.

For a youth rebuilding team, that's insanity. I can't call this season a TOTAL waste as we are seeing signs of growth from that group of players like you need to see, but man did Billups leave a lot of additional team and player growth unfulfilled.

Went back and watched...regardless of outcome that was a pretty damn great basketball game.

Scoot's 3pt shot should count as a miss, lol.

It'll be interesting to see if he can play with that much physicality in spurts. Very nice to see him have a "will-the-win" end of game...I'm not sure I've seen that from him yet. If he can combine that, with his natural pass first ability, and shoot league average from 3, he has a chance to be very good.

Deni is just...something.

Relatedly, I hit the Tankathon button this morning and the Blazers came up #2! Imagine getting to add a Dylan Harper to the mix.

Scoot
Harper
Camara
Deni
Clingan

Would be a fun group moving forward...wouldn't be able to hit the broad side of a barn from 3, but potential...

EDIT: I forgot to mention...my FAVORITE part of the game? Scoot/Sharpe/Camara/Deni/Clingan to close the game and playing well. Billups finally got our memo, I guess...

That is crazy, because that's our current "lineup of the future", until we acquire someone better to unseat one of those 5, which doesn't seem likely in the near term. I want to see that group play more together.

It was fun watching the lineup of Scoot, Shaedon, Toumani, Deni and Donovan at the end of the game to give them experience closing out games. Too bad Toumani fouled out.

Contract year. That's the one thing that keeps me hopeful on Simons and Ayton. They don't have the value fans think. But, if they play themselves into something valuable, you can cash out. Or, worst case, Simons/Ayton/Thybulle/Timelord all expire, and Grant's contract is the only thing looming over us.
