Ok I don’t wanna derail anymore I’ll leave here peacefully

You hold us to the standard of needing to beat the 96 Bulls, 2016 Warriors, 01 Lakers, 2024 Celtics or else the wins don't count. I don't see any elite teams in that record, therefore it doesn't count.

I will say I do respect that you show up after wins (that you didn't watch  )...whether or not you think they are solely because of Thomas or not.

I can at least say you are around after wins....can't say the same for some

cough cough

I’m up at 5:15 am every morning. It was 4:30 am until about a week ago. You think I’m staying up to watch us play Portland?

Yeah that's why Divo shouted out "That's what happens when they let you run things" to Rick. And MSG has alwaya hired outbthe box. No nepotism whatsoever. I was a hopeful fan who believed in the team until Phil Jackson got here. Then I saw what thisntram was really about.

I've been on rexord since the beginning not liking the KAT trade because it made us one dimensional. I haven't been shown to be wrong yet.

We are one dimensional because Thomas is limited as a HC.

And we were forced to making the KAT trade because of what happened with Ihart.

Ihart leaving and Mitch projected to miss more than half the season along with Randle extension talks being non existent. They weren't in a position to lose everyone with gaining some contract flexibility and finding a guy that could double as a center in KAT.

It had nothing to do with trading away usage players so that Brunson was the only option...come on man!
I'm not saying Julius and Divo were traded because JB wanted it. I said the effect of trading them was that the ball became all JBs. The set up has become all Brunson which is problematic.

He’s not really lying about us getting rid of our best playmaker (Randle) and getting much worse defensively with KAT at the 5. Brunson is too used to letting Randle playmake, so he’s been struggling to act as the main playmaker. And Donte has more heart than mikalikina. I’ve accepted this team is mid so I’m just here for the jokes now.

There’s definitely truth to that. I think Randle had a gravity that this team just doesn’t have. Randle would face double teams and that created a lot of kick out and swing pass opportunities. I hated Randles game but I can definitely see where this team needs more of that type of gravity from someone other than Brunson. KAT is more talented but just doesn’t draw in the defense the same way Randle did.

This team is definitely mid so I don’t blame you there. There isn’t enough improvement made where you can say they can’t lose to Indiana again.
That's it. The probkem is when people start btinging fandom into basketball discussions. Thry get offended when I say Jalen is selfish. He is. He looks to get his first. He has to concentrate on finding people.

I said Hart had to take on the Randle role and take the ball out of JB's hands more because he is more of a connector. He is.

I said the problem with the Knicks roster is that everybody needs to be passed the ball and teams will put big athletes on JB to stop the Knicjs offence.

I'm saying that if you fire Thibs Knicks cronyism will promote Rick instead of going out to find somebody young and new.

And I'm saying that if Thibs doesn't really coach offence then you have to admit the reason the offence isn't imaginative is because the players aren't imaginative, especially the guy with the ball.

My crime is that I don't assign all blame to one whipping boy anf think one change will fix everything.

Yeah, I saw this and almost threw my drink at the TV. Josh flat-out refusing to shoot is unacceptable. Teams see this and know they can back off him.

Win is a win and that's 2-2 on this trip with a chance to end it on a winning note on Saturday.

If rob didn't have some morals he'd be a multi-millionaire right now and on the FBI's most wanted list as a scammer/fraudster, he's elite.

Are we sure he isn't - he is constantly traveling and moving locations. The amount of criminals that hang out here. This place might as well move to the dark web.

I don't know, but I do know an elite talent at scamming when I see one. This man would be a nightmare with ChatGPT and talking to older people to get their accounts, but thankfully he seems to channel that into scamming us instead.

When an NFL team needs to refurbish their football field and move their goalposts Rob is the first person they call

You hit the nail on the head. Brunson is selfish and that’s been one of the bigger differences between early season to now. Earlier on the season he wasn’t really in rhythm and what happened was he was finding guys more and collectively we looked better even though Brunson himself wasn’t having big games. Then he found his groove and started to look for his offense more and more to the point where guys were not involved as much offensively. Brunson still has things to learn and become better at especially reading the game and the way he’s defended to find that right balance but I don’t think he’s going to sacrifice his scoring once he’s in his rhythm and playing to the best of his abilities. So its either the player adjusts or the way the team is constructed is adjusted to fit his style

Jalen has to learn how to deceive the defense, in my opinion

score when the defense expects you to pass
pass when the defense expects you to score

If the Blazers decided to trap Bridges coming off that screen on the game winner what does Hart provide in that situation?

With 3.5 seconds left, and no Jalen:

Towns
OG
Bridges
McBride
Hart (over Payne)

I can see a future where Hart is on the bench with a healthy Jalen.

If you have time to get a rebound or need to potentially create some havoc, then Hart over McBride.

Almost want to say if hart is out there you have to play him at center and put him under the rim. And play everyone else out at the perimeter. He’s more impactful scoring at the rim and possibly grabbing an offensive board than he is with shooting the ball

We also like to catch him going downhill when possible.
