Awesome win. Here's what's been happenin. LeBron goes off as he usually does. LeBron gets tired. Bron wears down. Bron can't carry the full load 24/7 like he used to. So he then defers. When he defers we usually go Anthony Davis. And he would show up, but it can't be a full deferral, because of his game type. His game impact was blocking shots. Or included defense. Awesome yes. But Not a PURE POINT GETTER. AD was a defender extraordinaire, turned offensive guy. LUKA HOWEVER, is a pure point getter. Bron can defer to Luka, and and Luka can drop coin immediately. Quickly drop 30pts. Bron can go thru a down period in his game because he's old and tired. But it don't matter now. Because Luka can fill the void easily

I get it, we dont have Lebron/Rui/Hayes/DFS or a combination of those for the last two games.

These four are basically our whole front line. Besides jemison and len.

A Doncic and AR led team is good enough to beat out many good teams.

Without a frontline though, we will not beat them.

Half Luka (bad back.. .I worry about this one, have you seen him take that fall in the New Orleans game? It was a real bad fall straight onto his back onto the hardcourt. No one has been making any news of it. Once I saw that, I knew he was going to have issues.
AR
Vando
Gabe

Knect
Jemison
Goodwin
Milton
Len

^^^^ this lineup above is not going to win anything. It is bare-boned.

We need a couple of Hayes/Rui/DFS to return. We can win with these frontcourt guys returning.

That's all true, but we're talking about the Nets. Luka + AR, plus the local Y team should be able to beat these Nets man.

They racked up wins because of their much improved defense but it's impossible to sustain that when you lose your best defensive core of James, DFS and Hayes and now you're asking Luka, Knecht, Reaves to close out shooters which didn't happened btw, coupled with horrendous shooting from Doncic and AR.
This resulted to the Nets making 40% from 3 which angered JJ, saying his team took "short cuts"= got lazy.
Playing Vando more would have helped their defense but he is such a liability on offense which makes DFS a lot more valuable for this team esp if you lose James.

You can't have both Luka and AR playing like crap in the same game if James is out. I know AR just got back but Luka was absolutely trolling out there.

Mostly Austin Reeves was just very cold shooting. Close game could have been a win, but also the refs were letting the Nets get away with muder such as:

Terrible defense and way too many open 3s for the Bucks all game long. Not enough support for Luka on the offensive end.

A 2 man 7footer team, especially when 1 of those is Giannis, is a match up nightmare. Time to move on to the next game. Len is a sorry a** pick up

And both showed up and played pretty good against the Bucks and STILL LOST BADLY. :banghead:
I really thought having DFS back would improve their defense but... :noway:
If no one would care about playing hard esp on defense, I saw just rest the core tonight esp Luka and Reaves.

I mean we gotta go through a team like that in OKC so we better have a better plan than what we saw today.

Denver Is a sorry ass fan base ... They celebrating like they just won the championship when Reaves Is our only starter out there vs 3string players, the fact that the game was close Is a huge respect to Lakers players ... Denver fans should be ashamed

I hope for a Denver/Lakers first round take their sorry butts out of the playoffs

Apparently we're not favored against anyone we face in the playoffs and thats just the way i like it. Just get healthy. I wanna hear a bunch of media pundits and forums say Lakers aren't favored.
