For me, Twitter was invisible for a day plus, then magically re-appeared.

Reposting made it so I could see the tweet. Super annoying and I apologize but it seemed more logical than constantly asking what each 1 said that I couldn’t see.

Don't like Eric Wilson to Minnesota. I'm not saying we should've kept him, I just liked him and wish he went elsewhere.

The Bryce Huff rumors are kind of interesting. Ojulari is still out there for some reason and seems like he'd be fine as a rotational pass rusher.

But in general if Green Bay wants to significantly upgrade their pass rush they'll have to do it through the draft most likely or hope for big steps from LVN or Cox

Maybe we are waiting for the big trade or we take a guy in the first

Totally understandable but also totally gross and I’m right there with you. Gotta love Gutes “sense of urgency” as he’s completely ignored addressing the pass rush so far in free agency. Short of a Trey Hendrickson trade, there’s just nothing out there to get excited about.

Hendrickson was PFFs 10th highest graded edge defender last year. #11? Von Miller.

I have no idea what goes into those grades but the statistics would certainly suggest those 2 aren’t even in the realm of comparable at this stage in their careers. Von has 14 sacks in the last 3 seasons combined, Trey has 35 in the last 2.

I'm guessing it's related to Millers pass rush success rate. He had 40 pressures in 332 snaps last season, or 12%. Hendrickson was a monster with 83 hurries but he did it in 823 snaps, or 10%.

Given it'd probably take at least a 2nd and probably more to get Hendrickson, while the Packers could just sign Von Miller I think he'd be a good option.

I like the efficiency, it certainly matters. But are those snaps strictly all passing downs or all the snaps each player was on the field for? An every down player like Trey should get a little lead way vs a situational pass rusher in comparison I think.

To be fair, I wanted Dante Fowler, 1yr 8m was peanuts for someone that had double digit sacks last year and hasn’t missed a game in over 3 seasons now. We missed the boat if a bigger move isn’t on the horizon. Von would be fine for what he is, I only meant “gross” because of the context of the OP I commented on. We’re at the point now a 35yr old “name” is looking like our best option and that’s what is gross. I still wouldn’t be excited for Von but I wouldn’t hate it either. Our pass rush sucks and I don’t see any rookie impactful enough to change that immediately. Not sure a 35yr old with 14 sacks the last 3yrs does much either but it’s better than nothing I guess.

Those were all snaps.

For comparison sake, Fowler's pressure success rate was 7%.

I think Miller is definitely a situational rusher at this point in his career, but if you could get him for something like one year and $10 million (I have no idea), he'd be good in a rotation.

I get that we had to let AJ Dillon go, but him going to the Eagles is sick. He's going to help with that tush push as often as possible and Lafleur is gonna hate it even more.

In theory this may be true but in reality for how big Dillon is, he’s soft and certainly doesn’t run or play like a 250lb RB that squats 700lbs.

Just trying to keep up I have Banks at G and Hobbs at CB as additions, and Ballentine CB, Myers C, Slaton DT, Stokes at CB and Wilson CB as subtractions at this point.

Any other roster turnover I'm missing (I don't count Dillon as he was not on the active roster).

I doubt it but wonder if we bring in Lockett on a 1 year deal for a little help.

Also wouldnt mind looking at Asante Samuel. If we kept Jaire, we would.be pretty stacked at CB.

Trade a 2nd for Hendrickson. But im sure our cap would crushed at that point.

Would make the draft really fun as we wouldnt have many needs.

There must be some major injury concerns with Asante Samuel, I have no clue why he is still out there.
