It's tough to see a non-stiff 7' highly skilled passer becoming a bad NBA player. C is our biggest position of need, and with Giddey it's ideally a guy that can hit outside shots.

I like him too. I worry that his paint defense would limit him in the NBA.

Hes the one player I am surprised isn't much higher.

You're right. It's best to accept it because that's where we're headed.

It's crazy that the team gets worse every year and AK still has his job.

With the 15th pick in the NBA draft the Bulls select...Derik Queen? Thomas Sorber?

I'll take Sorber, I like him. Not big on Queen though.

Noa Essengue is another I'd take a look at also.

Queen is way better than Sorber. Essengue has all the upside and i have zero confidence Billy can develop him.

Way better in what way? Their numbers are almost identical across the board.

Sorber is definitely the better defensive player.

Jase Richardson seems like an undersized shooting guard to me. How much different is he than say....Cason Wallace?

Seems to scream constant 6th man to me.

I'm not overly impressed.

Ayo/Ball/Phillips/PWill/Smith
that's a huge lineup, and a bunch of good athletes

Taj with a jumper

He’d be a nice piece to add to the youth

I watched him and he filled up the stat sheet but he looked weak with a low motor. Hard pass for me from my viewing.

I had seen him earlier in the year and he was a non factor at all. At least it was an improvement but watching him after watching CMB it was night and day. Newell just seems like a long term headache that never reaches his potential.

NEW TOPIC

Does anyone have any problem with Rutgers being terrible (AND SC for that matter). To me its a red flag if your team sucks.

Why is Newell ranked higher than Fleming?

His IQ is elite. Great feel. Complete opposite of Wallace. Jase has a bag off the bounce. Wallace is highly limited 3D floor spacer.

Issue is defense. Who is he going to defend?

I agree 6th man microwave. Hes actually a good match with a 1st option wing to play off of them much like Coby is with Giddey being the engine and distributor.

I hope he rises and pushes down a player like Tre to us.

Tenn played denial defense the whole game and doubled him when he did touch it.

My concern is Wolf will be Vuc on defense and PNRd off the floor every night. Hes not good enough of offense or create enough of an advantage in offense to overcome the D. His FT % scares me of his future NBA 3 too

I wouldn't be surprised if AK picks him with our 9th/10th pick. He is exactly AK's type.

This kid looks like a game changer on D.
Rim protects and shuts down PNR.
This is exactly what I want in our C.

Jase may have more on-ball creation than he's shown. Cason had 73 rim attempts in college, and Jase has 75 right now despite playing in 1 less game and playing fewer minutes overall. Jase gets to the line more 41.3 FTR vs 22.4 FTR. Jase has a 9 point lead in efficiency, 63.4% TS vs 54.3% TS, and they take the same amount of shots per possession. He's also a year younger than Cason on draft night.

Jase has to share ballhandling duties and it took a while before Izzo increased his minutes and usage. There's a lot he needs to improve on but I think he's shown more upside on offense than Cason. If he had Cason's size he'd be a top 8 pick for me.

Cason Wallace goes top 10 in a redraft of his class anyway

Not really. If Rutgers was better with either Harper or Ace off the court then I'd be concerned. What they can and cannot do on the court matters more IMO.

Amen, and Ausur Thompson were both 20 years old and playing against high school kids in Overtime Elite. Film matters more than anything else.

I'm curious...who are you hoping the Bulls draft?

Let's say they stay where they currently are (10th...although I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up 11-15).

Wallace is bigger stronger and an elite defender.

Return to Chicago Bulls
