He was dribbling fine. DDV was doing a lot of grabbing and he mostly got away with it.GameOver25 wrote:Bensational wrote:Good thing Black wasn’t on the court - he escapes blame for this collapse.
Nah he was on the court during the Wolves run and Magic drought. Couldn't dribble, missed layups, lack of assertiveness, not controlling the offense.

not a good 4th quarter for him but he kept us in the game up until the 4th. Can we talk about Franz' efficiency too?
Sure, but in the end its McDaniels defending Franz and Randle defending Paolo.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Too much dead weight on this team.

Team is *checks boxscore* +4 in +/- during his 20 minutes on the court. Magic scored 4 more than the Wolves, despite the drought. All Magic starters are negative and 3 are double digits negative.
Just sayin. Can’t blame Black.

Sure... but Franz IS a max guy. We need to expect more out of both but Paolo was MUCH better tonight and he's the one that gets blamed. Not fair to be honest.

Paolo gets blamed for everything, it kinda ridiculous at this point. He pretty much kept them in game the whole time. Min went on a run when he went out. Mose should have put him in much earlier.

Not about Paolo, but I’m wondering why Houstan only has 8 shots from 3 when he’s made 6 of them. Blinder definitely went on if you’re not looking to find that guy and get him a shot.

7 points 4 boards in 46 minutes from our bigs. For as much as we need a guard, the bigs do very little now that Goga is unplayable.
Franz was really bad.
Paolo was basically a point per possession until the three free layups at the end, with bad defense. Don't think this is the game to make Paolo's case. Wasn't bad, but not as good as the points say.
Team was in the game because of hot role player shooting.

I mean you're not wrong, but still I felt like in the 1st half he was making reads based on what the defense was giving him. The 2nd half he was in his ISO let me show you my bag style of play. Whatever.

Having WCJ pop when he's shooting 21% is absolutely coaching malpractice
kinda cant help it because him popping gives more space in the paint for Paolo & Franz, and hope the defense somewhat respects it
WCJr has been a threat up until this season where he's been abysmal. That's why I've always said he makes sense next to Paolo rather than Goga...
That's why you're barely seeing Goga on the court now because of his lack of offensive pedigree and he doesn't have the perimeter defense of a Suggs and KCP to cover for his lack of perimeter defending too.

32 shots is a lot of shots.
*edit- With 11ftas
43 points is a great effort. That’s good efficiency. Just couldn’t get everyone to make one final run.
