Besides Braun, their role players are too inconsistent and prone to be taken out of the game. They need both Murray and MPJ to be lights out in a 7 game series to come out with 4 wins.

They basically have the same amount of playoff viable guys tbf. About ~7 each

Nuggets struggling to beat Lakers with out Bron

I been calling the Nuggets pretenders since the start of the season. This was just pathetic by the Nuggets to barely beat a depleted Lakers roster smh

Lakers might sweep them if they meet in the playoffs lol

Just like they did last year I assume.

I’ll agree the Nuggets are not contenders, but they will not lose to the Lakers in the playoffs.

Denver owns the Lakers.

You forget the meeting late last month where we stomped Denver and held Jokic to 12 points? Probably not because it doesn’t fit your narrative. Instead you take a victory lap for beating the Lakers g league affiliate.

The Nuggets almost lost to Bronny, at home.

Lakers have a different roster. You have to deal with Luka and LeBron now.

Lakers win that series pretty easily imo

Lakers on a back to back too. From Milwaukee to Denver. They now have 4 games in the next 6 nights, 10 games in 17 days.

People say this, but the Nuggets have been playing like the 5th best team in the league (I’d put OKC+CLE+BOS+MIN as teams playing better than them)

They got nothing, Lakers have them beat see ya next game to prove It.

I don’t agree that the Lakers would be favored against the Nuggets in a playoff series (though I’d put the Warriors over the Nuggets and the TWolves as a tossup vs them)

We're not favored against anyone. I like that and i hope everyone keeps on saying that. Just get healthy is all i care about.

Congrats. You won a regular season game. These days, the regular season victories count just as much as rings used to for the Lakers.

Whats the last 15 or so games look like between these teams ? Humour me.

Okay, props to the Lakers bench for showing out. No disrespect to them. Reaves stepped up to run the show. Vando was amazing, that save plus assist falling out of bounds. Shake Milton with a lot of good drives. Kief in the high post. Even Bronny had his moments despite the alarmed facial expression of hostage in danger.

But wtf, Denver. The Nuggets couldn't gameplan for the Lakers' third options plus deep bench players? What happens when they have a seven game series against actual starters? Against all-stars? Bad matchups. Bad, slow rotations. Weak contests at the rim. Daring shooters to shoot.

The Nuggets are toast lmao. Whoever gets them in the first round is smacking them in 6 games at worst.

since when is John Wall on NBATV? Didn't this dude make hundreds of millions in the league? he's also only 34, why is he bothering working at all is a question.

The Nuggets just don't have enough perimeter defenders to be a true contender. Fast, shifty guards will regularly carve them up, as will smallball if Gordon doesn't up his activity level.

Buddy we were the hottest team in basketball prior to all the injuries. The #2 seed, not the Nuggets. You’re a casual for bringing up the Ham led Lakers and acting like this is the same team.

Cope

Nuggets haven't ever lost a first round series with a healthy Jamal. Regular season games in March don't change that.

He was being talked about as a Top 5 pick.

I knew he could flat put score.

No way should he drop that far in draft.

Old prospect with horrendous defense falling far in the draft isn’t weird at all

Knecht was a guaranteed sniper that could also play above the rim in a weak draft.

He absolutely should not have fallen that far.

I was very suspicious of it on draft night because I knew for a fact he could score at any level.

Denver has a problem with LA now.

Other teams should learn. Just sell out completely to stop Jokic and dare the other Nuggets to beat you.

Best way to play them.

How long were you the #2 seed for?

And "hottest team in basketball prior to all the injuries" - how?

During the Lakers six game win sterak, the Nuggets were on a 9 game win streak.

In fact, during the Lakers 6 + 8 game win streaks (with some losses in between the streaks), the Cavs are on a 20-1 W/L...

So how were you the 'hottest team in basketball' exactly?
