Keep Booker or trade him we aren't going anywhere if Ishbia and JJ keeps stocking this team with undersized finesse players.

I’m indifferent about his future here as we will very likely suck for the next 3-5 yrs with or without him.

He was very good for awhile but this season he seems a step slow & unable to get past defenses, disengaged and apathetic and definitely not a top 10 player.

He went Godlike in the series against Denver but maybe that was his final hurrah and we may never see him reach that level ever again.

He's never been a top 10 player. And not close.

He's top 20 at very very best... maybe 20th

Should have traded him years ago before everyone knew he was a scam.

I'm surprised as time goes on and we keep losing, as KD being our best player and our role players not being great, and we have no young guys, no athleticism or defense.....

that with all that, the poll is getting more keep Booker votes as time goes on than trade him. Maybe not more, but Booker's % has been rising.

What path is there to make the team better by keeping him? How do we get supporting players. What good assets do we have? I also feel that if we get rid of KD and he is purely surrounded by role players, that we will drop to the bottom of the west like we were before we got CP3 and it will show he does not have the type of impact that can make a team competitive and carry a better team with injuries. I think his value is at an all time peak right now (maybe not all time as it was probably better last summer) but as high as it will ever be going forward, and I think it could fall off rather quickly.

We reallly need to pry our picks and some young players off Houston. Is anyone excited to watch the team? I hadn't missed a game in YEARS and held on for a long time this season even though I had little interest in watching, and would fast forward though them pretty quickly, but over the last week or two, I've really just lost interest in watching.

I may watch a little bit tonight. I will definitely be watching the Cats, but maybe after that I will just start the Suns later and fast forward through the breaks, since I want to see how we stack up against the Kings since we likely will face them in the first play in. Provide we can even catch Dallas.

I have a feeling Ishbia is going to trade Beal for Pg13 and keep Durant and Booker

Thee choices
1) trade Beal for whatever

2) keep Booker and trade Beal and Durant

3) trade Booker and Durant, keep Beal

My guess is the best team short and long term is option 3.

Ishbia would be so stupid to keep Durant and Booker and trade Beal for PG13

Even the pincus trade for Markkanen and Utah getting the Rockets players and picks would be annoying and stupid as the Rockets players/picks would help the team more than markkanen

Ishbia is going to screw this up

This is exactly spot on though! Ishbia is beyond delusional thinking we'd somehow get better and somehow be more competitive after offloading KD in a trade. The mental gymnastics and absurd delusion is Epically bad! I mean we're going to be giving up a near triple double in production on elite efficiency, and also taking away another big weapon for opposing defenses to focus on, and now only have Booker and role players trying to somehow beat teams? And those same opposing defenses will just once again key in on Booker with double and triple teams forcing the ball out of his hands and gambling on whatever role players we might get actually beating them.

We've already been down this road before and seen how it plays out. As Bgood mentioned above, we'd just be going back to the roster we had before the Paul trade, only this time with no Ayton, no Bridges, no Cam, no Crowder, no picks, no assets, etc! Definitely sounds like another winning move! Only thing dumber is all these Suns media podcasters and pundits shamelessly trying to pander and capitulate to Ishbia by moronically championing this asinine decision that'll push us completely into a 10-20 yr rebuild cycle as Bookers' value only continues to depreciate further each year until he asks out due to frustration from being so bad! And asks us out with us getting almost nothing in return!

But none of that should be at all surprising as this front office/ ownership team is notorious for egregiously bad asset management and taking losses in virtually every endeavor! They'll los so much of the fanbase to in the coming years over this gross ineptude! :nonono:

I really liked George and thought he was one of the most underrated players. But he has not played well and may be on serious decline. He has 3 years after this year, making over $160 million, and over $56 million in 27-28.

Is this George news coming from anywhere? Would Beal really waive his NTC to go there?

Just an online rumor trading bad for bad contract . George has a worse contract

Knowing ishbia he will add picks to take a worse contract

I watch this team quite a bit, Paul George is washed, mentally retired before he quit his pod, but can still defend at a high level so I'd say do the trade if Philly is willing. I don't see them doing though. They have enough undersized combo guards that lack defensive skills, PG is their only wing

The ace in the hole with PG is no way Beal moves his family to Philly. So we got that going for us

Obviously nothing directly man. Clearly I posted this in the wrong thread. I found it humorous because of my strong dislike for both teams, and that people would fight at a game, likely over something inconsequential at best.

But it it makes you feel better to do so, feel free to make a " metaphoric association to how spirited the divide is between the two groupings of those that are in the blow it up camp ( trading Booker) and the opposition vehemently championing the idea of keeping him and riding things out. :dontknow:
