I see they sat Grimes out tonight and just threw the Blue Coats out there.

Love it. As they say on the Ricky: "Rig that ****".

Gonna come down to us vs Brooklyn for #5.

We are 4.5 games behind NOP for #4 with only 16 games left.

The Raptors have the easiest remaining SOS in the league and will likely keep enough of a pace to stay behind us.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Barlow/Watford/Walker

So after the NO game on the 24th (a loss), I predict this to be standings:

4. NO 20-53
5. PHI 22-50
6. BKN 22-50
7. TOR 25-47

Problem is, Sixers last 10 games include 2x WSH, TOR, and CHI. And BKN is probably only going to win one more game the rest of the year.

It looks as if the Sixers will finish sixth. Harris better have that frozen envelope secured after the stadium debacle.

WAS is playing better, TOR is playing better, and CHI is fighting for the playoffs lol. We have the ability to lose every single game, but our margin for error is one win which I assume we'll get somewhere. In that case we just need BKN to find 2 wins which should happen. There's also a small chance NO leaps us to finish with 24 wins.

4.NO 22-60
5.BKN 23-59
6.PHI 24-58

And we're going to ask ourselves: "Why did they beat CLE and GSW?"

It is what it is. Team needs some lotto luck.

It depends if we shut down Maxey and Grimes or not. They've put out some reports that Maxey will be back during the road trip. That would be the dumbest move. Hopefully it's just air cover to avoid that snake fining us again.

If we shut down Maxey and limit Grimes, we can lose every game! I'm also very confident that BKN will get at least 2 more wins.

I see that the league is investigating the Sixers yet again, now for violating the player participation policy.

Notably, the two players they are apparently concerned about are Paul George and Tyrese Maxey.

Question is: Isn't it smarter to hand over the pick to OKC this season. From what I've heard, the 2026 draft is much more stacked and the pick is only protected 1-4 than.

On the other hand, with a healthy Maxey and McCain, we should be better than this season nevertheless?

Sixers should tape Maxey's thumb and pointer finger together so there's just one finger left for him to show the NBA League Office.

And it won't draw that much league attention because Thomas is not on the list of stars.

No it's not smarter to hand OKC pick 7-9 this season as opposed to waiting until next year. It's very likely we'll be MUCH better next year than this year.

Adam Silver is a horrible commissioner and has no control over the league. He just keeps adding dumb tournaments that nobody cares about, while he has 10 teams fighting for ping-pong balls. He is such an idiot. He thought he created this great play-in game motivation. NBA teams aren’t knocking themselves out for a chance to get clobbered by the Celtics or Thunder. Making the playoffs was an accomplishment. Now the 10 seed in a 15 team conference is involved?

He is like a teacher with bad classroom management. He isn’t good at his job, so when he loses control, he scrambles with punitive measures to save face.

The in-season tournament is a flop. The All-Star tournament was an even bigger flop. The play-in games aren’t valued by teams.

Now Silver is spiraling out of control as teams are jockeying to finish as low as possible.

Like people said, i dont think we can outtank the Nets, sadly. That snake silver is already bothering us, so Maxey and PG will probably be back in the next games. And the nets wont put Cam again this season... But i think we will lose more than the raptors, so we will end with the 6th worst record. Gotta pray for ping pong balls go our way...

We absolutely can. That worthless POS owner needs to find his balls instead of bending over for Snake silver yet again.

Shut down PG, Maxey and Grimes and we got it.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
