3/16 Sunday NBA Game Thread

Happy Sunday everyone after some wild games yesterday, we will have some early games on today, & we have 8 on schedule just like yesterday, let’s not wait to long & get into it.

- First we have the number 1 seed in the east Cleveland who are riding a 16 game winning streak they will be battling the up & down Orlando Magic, Should be a good one.

- Next up we have the two teams who have been bombard
with injuries throughout the season, I’m talking about,
the 76ers & the Mavericks, I’m assuming only the fans of
these teams will be watching this game or some really
core NBA fans.

- Right after that we have two teams, who are trying to win for different reasons, Lakers are coming into this afternoon on a 4 game losing streak after an impressive showdown with the the Denver Nuggets it wasn’t enough to get them the win, they hoping to achieve that against the Phoenix suns who are just keeping the head above water just to have a chance to get into the play-in

- Then we have two teams who still have a chance at the play-in even though they are long shots nonetheless I’m sure they still want to put on a good show for the fans, have the players who showcase the skills & growth on the court, & those teams are the Raptors & Blazers.
( side note the Raptors are riding 3 game winning streak whilst the Blazers are on there own 5 game losing streak).

- A game starting an hour right after this one is Hawks & Nets who both are playing for something, one team is the 7th position & the other one is 13th in the standings,
Hawks would like to win this one to avoid having just one loss behind the Magic, though the Magic would also have win today for that to happen, & the Nets would like to of course win as well but my importantly then that not give up double digit leads after double digit let’s etc.

- Another game we starting at the same time is Utah Jazz against the Minnesota Timberwolves both teams are moving in different directions, one is riding the fourth highest winning streak of 7 games in franchise history while the other is on a lonely 7 game losing streak and last place in the western conference but all that doesn’t matter as both teams have clean slate tonight to show what they are made of ( Minnesota is looking to win this one to have an equal amount of losses in the standings as the team right below them the Clippers who are playing at the same time as them.

- The next game up we have is the buzz city Hornets who will play against the Clippers, at times this season the Hornets have been quite surprise as teams have let there guard down against them will it happen again against the Clippers who want to win this one to keep the pressure up on Minnesota.

- The last game of the day is between the number 1 seed in the western conference the Thunder, they will play the Milwaukee Bucks, & as both teams will be playing on a back to back look for them to play the reserves a little more then usually, this seems like a good one.

Have a good day & enjoy the games

Last time these 2 teams met on ABC the Cavs won by 40 points, let's hope for a lot of the same today.

I’m actually hoping for quite the opposite only because the Magic have been through enough already not just this season, but for the last decade or so. 8-)

Just think, only a few months ago Mavs Sixers were considered a marquee match up.

This Mavs Sixers game has the potential to be one of the most shameful tank offs ever. Philly has ten players listed as out which means both teams are going to be suiting the allowable minimum of only 8 players. PJ Washington is available again all of a sudden which is probably because Caleb Martin now has a left hip strain.

Philly's draft pick this year which they owe to OKC is also top 6 protected, Philly has the 6th worst record right now, and can move into a tie for 5th with a loss. This is exactly the kind of situation where Dallas got fined for tanking to keep the pick that turned into Dereck Lively

I just read in one of my friend group chats that Mobley is out for the morning ABC game, that's a bigger loss than Mitchell imo.

Regardless of how deep we go, losing Mobley hurts us big time against a team like Orlando. We won't be able to run an elite rim protector at all times and forces us to go small unless we run with Thompson.

I haven't been paying attention. I need to. Better late than never.

I really like Hunters defense in this one so far.

Kenny decided to go with Tristan Kardashian.

And he immediately gets an offensive board

Koby Altman is criminally underrated. I NEVER hear his name.

Pretty pass to a cutting Merrill too.

He’s playing some very good minutes so far. And Kenny has the best possible unit surrounding him.
