Man, this Magic offense is putrid.

Koby Altman is criminally underrated. I NEVER hear his name.
He’s been a big part of why we’re in the situation we’re in now. Giving up practically nothing to get Jarrett Allen, the trade for Mitchell ultimately working out, bringing in Jerome, Hunter, Strus. It’s a shame that we’re at risk of going into the second apron, but thankfully our owner isn’t afraid to spend.

The faster they move on from Mosley the better. The roster is a complete mess but Mosley is doing nothing with what he has been dealt. He banks on ISO's like it's 1999.

I don't get what's up with Magic. Only Suggs is out, right? Why are they struggling?

Paolo looks like he’s going to cry. Poor man just wants to beat the Cavs and they’re at risk of being swept for the season.

They’re playing against a team that is in the midst of their second 15 game winning streak this season… Is this really that surprising?

Suggs (defense) and Mo Wagner (bench offense) are out. What has been exposed is that Mosley isn't the motivator that had these guys playing defense. It was Suggs and his energy. The offense has always been bad under Mosley but without his All-Defense star, he's lost his team.

Idk what beef Jerome has with the Magic, he didn't even play in the series last season but double tech it is for him and Banchero.

Idk why we’re pretending the Magic haven’t played really good defense today. So far they’ve been doing what they need to do at that end… the Cavs are just hitting some really tough shots and executing their offense brilliantly.

Ironically, Ty is exactly who the magic should go after this summer.

Well not this game specifically, but like overall a losing record with the quality of the roster doesn't correspond.

He was jawing with the Memphis bench on Friday, I think the guy just has a lot to say...
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Yeah, gotta do like the Cavs did and find a coach who is more offensive minded. The Magic can bring in their version of Johnnie Bryant so the defense doesn't become a complete afterthought.thelead wrote:JujitsuFlip wrote:Man, this Magic offense is putrid.

Re: 3/16 Sunday NBA Game Thread
Cleveland going small really hurt them. I would give Thompson more minutes if I’m Kenny. Can’t do that against a team like Orlando.

Well, we need him to not collect his 2nd tech, he's too valuable.mcfly1204 wrote:JujitsuFlip wrote:Idk what beef Jerome has with the Magic, he didn't even play in the series last season but double tech it is for him and Banchero.

Yeah, that was a bit head scratching. It really makes you wonder who they will spend their open playoff roster spot on.Iwasawitness wrote:Cleveland going small really hurt them. I would give Thompson more minutes if I’m Kenny. Can’t do that against a team like Orlando.

Re: 3/16 Sunday NBA Game Thread
Mark Jones keeps hyping up that Jerome is from NY, so watched an interview of his. Disappointing. Was expecting a thick NYC accent.

I'm not specifically talking about tonight. Just in general. They recently went 1-6 on a 7 game home-stand including losses to blatantly tanking teams that were playing g-league players in the second half.

I don't mind it. Do I want to see him get tossed? Obviously not. Do I like the thought of going into the Playoffs with a bit of an attitude? Absolutely.
