Trent is the only 2-guard I feel even remotely confident is playable in the postseason. KPJ needs more minutes next to Dame. Gotta see how he acclimates himself to a more off-ball role.

He has good size for a shooting guard. 6’5” with a 6’9” wingspan.

alright, so here's an FYI...

Bucks lineups with Giannis and KPJ:

175 Possessions

Offense

Diff: +22 (100th percentile, although idk what sample that is compared to. All two man combos? IDK)
Pts/Poss: 120.6 (87th)
eFG%: 66.2% (100th)
TOV%: 17.1% (6th)
Oreb%: 15% (0)
FT Rate: 22.8 (93rd)

Defense

Pts/Poss: 98.2 (100th)
eFG% 51.0% (93rd)
TOV%: 17.3% (92nd)
Oreb% 13.1% (100th) (defensive rebounding, for some reason they label it from the opponent perspective)
FT Rate: 11.7 (100th)

And much of this was against good competition as they only lately starting putting KPJ on the floor with Giannis.

He will play 30 minutes for us at some point. He will be a playoff contributor. He should soak up most of Kuzma's usage and reduce him to a cutter/garbage man/intangible guy.

I'll also add that Kuzma's numbers on the court with Giannis are very good on both ends and that's across more than 500 possessions, so a much bigger sample.

He's not a good shooter, I'm finding out, but the defense and the other stuff will always be there. If his jumper gets hot at the right time, it could carry us over a hump that most dont think we can get over. It's not likely, but at least the possibility is there.

Kuzma is in. Sucks about Sims
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Damn, that really sucks for Sims. I doubt he was going to play much in the playoffs anyway but he was doing a good job of soaking up the regular season minutes

Defenders are always playable. Teams guard Green tight too.

Abruptly shuts down Sims' free agency audition. Might not hurt his cause, but it won't help.

Switching defenses are more common come playoff time, so I think he had an excellent chance of playing.

The Bucks have a defensive rating of 88 with Sims next to Giannis. Yes, very small sample, but also very believable.

We started Andre for like 30-games and the results spoke for themselves.

Dame doesn't guard the PG, so the SGs size is irrelevant. Defensively, Dame is the SG.

Sure, but you're comparing a guy who isn't guarded to a guy that's face guarded.

I’m totally cool with AJ being used in the right matchups and as a flamethrower shooter off the bench, but he still has a whole lot to prove before we anoint him a 20-25 minute playoff guy. He’s flat out disappeared in recent stretches and he certainly didn’t inspire much confidence in his only playoff action of his career last season.

It is find of funny that our most signature win of the season - Blowing the Thunder out in the tournament - didn't actually count in the standings.

Lets make this one count...lol.
