Really hate what's coming out of this, PJ left his heart on the floor in the PO last year, he deserves much better...
I hope fans take note and not shout these things on Mabs FTs.

It’s 1 fan in particular that shouts “Fire Nico” every time the Mavs shoot at FT.

No way KD is coming in this mess. Nobody is.

Nico isn’t going to quit making trades. This team still has assets and he’s going to trade them. The Suns I think have realized they had a good team and then destroyed it by adding KD and Beal. A young center with a youngish PF to pair with Booker is exactly what they need. They’ve already said they will work with KD to send him to a team of his choice and he’s close to Kyrie and AD. Not to mention (even though most of us hate Nico) KD is close to Nico and would have no problem playing for him.

KD didn't want to go to Warriors and he will come to Mavs with injured Kyrie? No way. People should understand that next year is already lost for Mavs, not exactly situation for 37 years old player to go.

You have to keep in mind, this is not a video game. Players have actual friendships with other players. KD didn’t want to play in Golden State because of Draymond. KD and Kyrie are actually close friends. Not to mention KD is friends with Kidd (as well as Nico).

Keep in mind, I’m not saying this is what’s best for the Mavs. This is just what I think happens. Nico is going to turn the Mavs into what the Suns were this year. A capped out team loaded with too many old stars.

It could have happened before Kyrie injured himself, KD won't want to miss 1 of few more years to play with Dinwiddie on point. Mavs are just too risky for KD, he will try to find better situation. If AD goes down again, which is very likely, KD will have to play alone, which he has no intention to do. KD salary is so big that Mavs would have needed to trade half a team for him, KD knows that they can't win anything with that team anyway. This would be another Nets situation with KD and Kyrie being 5 years older. Why exactly would KD want that?

Nico said Luka is fat and is washed up. Then you see this type of defense on him

Luka and Grimes scored 60+ today, meanwhile Nico is in a winning now mode.

You could be right. There’s a chance KD could go to OKC or to the Lakers. Hell there’s even a chance he goes to Denver, Knicks, or Cleveland. The Knicks or Thunder are two teams I could see him choosing over Dallas. Most of his friends play in Dallas though.

No one is defending Nico. The Luka trade is indefensible. Worst trade all time. He single-handedly dismantled a championship caliber team. The fact that he still has a job is a travesty.

That doesn’t mean he’s going to stop making trades. He’s already expressed his vision for the team. He wants to build a “super team” built of the guys he thinks are still superstars. It’s a horrible plan and reeks of the 2003-04 Lakers. Once he trades away all the young talent and draft picks they will likely suffer the same fate as that 03-04 Lakers team.

His best game since coming back, I think he's ~90% now, his touch around the rim is almost there.

I tried to find a good Lakers podcast to follow Luka and boy do Lakers media suck, only one I liked was Jovan Buha, Mavs media is really really good.

He doesn't care about friends, he will go wherever he believes he has the most chances to win the ring and show he can win it without Steph. I doubt that Mavs with injured Kyrie and fragile AD is realistic destination in his eyes. Even Detroit has more chances than Mavs. Not to mention OKC, if they lose in this playoffs in the West again. Rockets, Wolves...

I hope so, the trade itself is horrible enough, no need to alienate hometown player who has done a lot for the team.
I'm all for protesting and boycotting the team, but sadly, there are few obnoxious fans who took it way too far, I thought the guys Cuban told to shut the F up back in the 2nd game after the trade totally deserved it, but they got lost among the other fans who were wrongfully targeted.

I'm not sure that Cuban is the right person to tell anyone to shut the **** up. He sold the club to Adelson family, he brought Nico and Kidd. Now he tries to distance himself from this fiasco. He's as guilty as anyone else.

Fans needing to support players no matter what is a joke too. It's not the way how things work in sports, especially not, if the players are getting huge paycheques. Mavs have won only 14 games after Christmas game, 3 after ASB, that's disastrous with or without injuries. Fans being frustrated by this downfall is totally understandable. I would say that Mavs fans are extremely benign about all situation. If anything people still paying money to watch this **** is highly surprising.

Dirk Nowitzki: 'I will always be a Mavs fan. But this trade really hurt'

Dirk Nowitzki: It was such a strange situation. I was standing in that empty stadium, and then he ran onto the court—in yellow. It was just an unbelievably bizarre moment for me. And of course, it’s going to take weeks and months before it starts to feel a little more normal. It’s a tough situation, but in my tweet, I made it clear—I will always be a Mavs fan. But this trade really hurt. And it will take a while before everyone processes it and moves on.” – via YouTube

These guys were the kids who lost their toy back when they were young and when they couldn't have it back, they'd tear the whole place apart.

This is why people need to beat their kids. So they don't grow up acting tough when they're really not. Seriously folks, beat your kids, in private.

Anyone has the right to protest and voice their opinion, some did it in a very hilarious and likable way like the guy who pretended to sing and then said fire Nico, but no need to tolerate obnoxious jerks in public setting, the 2 that Cuban snapped at specifically crossed the line, and Cuban had every right to snap at them.

I find hilarious Cuban and other Mavs' representatives being upset about those very mild comments from the fans. 1/2 fans in Europe is far more obnoxious jerks than those and I'm not even talking about Ultras, who would have eaten Cuban alive, but you can be sure, he wouldn't **** with them.

Nba losing viewership is mostly because they have the best players but product is far too political correct. It's like watching Disney movies.

In the Derby of my city we need SWAT units with horses tp keep the order, but this is NOT what the NBA is about, never was and never will be, it's an entertainment product aimed to be family friendly, that's why Sports business is important, fans phase out unsuccessful teams and ride the bandwagon of successful ones, which makes the trade 10 times as stupid...
It has always been this way, that's the Sports experience in the US, the declining viewership is about modern viewing and entertainment practices more than the NBA product itself.

I just saw tweet thread about it on Kirk Henderson page, really really sad and really really frustrating, who the hell does Nico Harrison think he is? And how did Dumont allow him to do it?
