While this is terrible on nico's part that silver even allows this to be a possibility is ridiculous. How as mavs fans can you even care about a team when this is out there.

I strongly believbe that was the reason for the trade - to make the team bad and alienate the fans. That way, their low ticket sales will cause Silver to all the Adelsons to move the team to Las Vegas. Yes, this is totally serious. The money from sports gambling in Vegas far outweighs the profits of a basketball team.

The owners already have casinos in Vegas. They’ve bought the land for a casino resort in Texas, are running commercials and pressuring politicians here. The Mavs are a vehicle used to steer public funds for the construction They didn’t know enough about basketball to stop Nico. Public sentiment is against them now.

I hope the Adelsons fail. The deal was to leave Mark Cuban as POBO, but he's been pushed aside since the purchase. What a mess. Overnight, Nico turned Pelinka from an also-ran to a genius.

Seems like the Nets and Sixers have no problems doing one another favors in the tank department.

Yep. My personal theory is that The Mavericks had the league’s blessing to do this.

If they were trading Luka to say, Indiana, I guarantee Silver would have stepped in.

SGA is special and makes that team tick...but man Ihart controls so much of the game especially when teams blitz SGA he is so good in the short roll whether its a floater or pass.

he is also a great rebounder and really good rim protector.

I know everyone expects series between OKC,Cavs, Celtics and maybe even Lakers and Warriors to be close...but I honestly believe OKC will get through the west much more comfortably than people expect and they'll beat both the Cavs and Celtics quite easily (5 or 6 games max). That is of course if Williams comes back healthy. They have the MVP, size, defense, rebounding, grit and shooting to put away any opposition. I honestly can't think of a weakness with that team. The entire team long, athletic, effective and gritty. On top of that they have like 10 tradable FRPs....Presti is really in a league of his own.

I don't see them lose more than 6 games in their title run.

It's crazy how the league rules basically made it so that the Knicks couldn't make a fair market offer to a player that was under contract for 2 years.

I don't blame Dolan for being combative towards the league as of late. Adam Silver is running a complete sh*t show.

That's some seriously high praise. The guy knows how to facilitate out of the high post, I mean outside of Joker he might be the best passing center in the league.

There's a big difference between a lateral hand-off to KAT at the top of the key and delivering the ball in the high post to iHart who expanded our distribution options and made Brunson somewhat less ball dominant.
