Jimmys foul baiting is something else. It’s like someone told him that drawing a foul is better than him actually shooting the basketball. And so he’s just looking for ways to draw fouls and can do it a lot.

I can’t see that with Curry. Jimmy is too passive. To get this Jimmy, he needs keep going and going, so what Curry will do in this case? Stands in the corner?

This team is setup well for the future after the 3 old guys are done, you may have to acquire a new #1 but Podz, Moody, Kuminga, Santos and Post are 5 players who seem to be good young rotation guys and should only get better.

That’s the best I’ve ever seen him play vs. Giannis. He was picking him up at half court or even back court to prevent Giannis from getting a head of steam and going downhill.

Giannis didn’t want to shoot against Draymond unless it was a fadeaway. He was missing those shots.

That said, he doesn’t look like vintage Giannis who was a pogo stick from under the rim, dunking on people all the time or getting quick second and third jumps. His FT form is bad, after all these years. No leg as Azubuike noted.

They needed good shooting games not only from Buddy but also Podz, Post and Payton.

Best of a lot more energy and force compared to last night. Though Bucks missed a lot of wide open looks and they’re one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the league.

The issue is, scoring Jimmy will get injured, his game is too taxing on his body.

If podz can hit open shots like this consistently watch out. We might have 6 players that can close.

Curry/gp2/podz/moody/jimmy/dray

I’ve got to say Kerr did a great job with the rotation for the most part.

props to podz and GPII, they come up huge in the clutch when it matters. and props to post too. he's going in the right direction.
dray with 5 fouls fantastic D on giannis in the end.
jimmy showed his true colours tonight, if this is the version we'll get in the postseason....
kerr with the right decisions and lineups this time down the stretch, without those dubs don't win tonight.

The problem is none of them can scale up to be a no 1. They’re all legit players though.

Sure, but most (not all) of his fouls are really fouls. The thing about getting fouls, you get players in foul trouble where they can't play defense as aggressively and you get your team to the FT line quicker on non-shooting fouls which to me, I think helps his teammates to get FTs, see that ball go through the hoop and bring up their confidence shooting.

Yea because he’s looking for contact rather than looking to score the ball. I get why he doesn’t try to go into scoring mode in the regular season. But man if he wasn’t on our team I’d think his game is disgusting. Haha

I’ve hated SGA, harden, traes games.

If JK gets anything near a max deal they need to package and trade him as part of that deal. Some nights he’s great, but the rest of the time, he’s an anchor - a guy who looks like a novice to the game who wants big money. Btw- QP looks like a steal. Nice form and nice touch, he can even handle the ball.

Only saw the 4th, great win. Only concern is Kerr and his middle-of-the-4th janky lineups. For some reason, he sits his best guys when the other teams are bringing theirs back in.

true, yesterday they looked overmatched energy-wise most of the time, but also the CS decisions. as said before, tonight they double-teammed dame at some points to force the ball out of his hands and prevent him to go 1vs1 to the basket drawing (non) fouls, yesterday they couldn't try one time on gordon who instead was having a night. mindblowing. also, DEN (and NY the game beofre) switched on every possession which made the splitaction useless. but the dubs continued to run all game the same actions that didn’t work. at some point you have to take advantage of the mismatches created from the opponents switching. CS matters.

The foul drawing has been great offense and it really allows us to set our defense. It does have a lot of benefits.

Steve like to put out the Jimmy/dray/podz/moody or buddy and post lineup out there that has been killing teams to start the 4th. Then let’s Steph come in to give them all a break and then they come back in to close. It’s worked really well for us.
