Interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He changed from guarding best player to guarding best ballhandler/point of attack. I agree Mikal is better guarding a wing than a quick point guard, Deuce is best for that. And Brunson can't. But sometimes the best opposing player is a strong 3-4 or 5, which OG guards. OG at point of attack as the guy speculates at the end of video, is only good if it's a big guard like Luka. OG guarding a lightning quick guy like maxey for example, is not ideal. He can do it, guard, Maxey, Trae, Donovan Mitchell, etc but better on a wing or even big man like Bam.

The overall point of the video is good, but the sad thing is when JB returns of course he starts, and we lose some of that defensive overall versatility we've had from Deuce, Mikal and OG playing together. The only way around it is to start Deuce over Hart, but Thibs ain't doing that. And you do lose hart's crazy rebounding on his good days, though gaining Deuce's POA defense plus shooting.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

2 ways to continue our good defense after JB returns...

1) Start Deuce over Hart. We improve shooting, offensive flow, and defense with this move at the expense of rebounding and some playmaking. But more playmaking can be given to KAT and Mikal who are capable.

2) Bring Mitch off the bench at the 6 minute mark to play at least 16 minutes a game with KAT so about half of KAT's minutes are played with Mitch and the other half is played with Deuce in over Hart so we're stronger defensively.

Josh needs to be moved to the 2nd unit and has needed to move there for awhile now.

Again, i really think that if Brunson was there, none of that goes down. I dunno how things are in the locker room but Barnes has a point.

Knicks would have also won.
