Some hard decision will have to be made - are we trying to push for last championship or losing games developing JK in year 4?

I think Kerr may cut his minutes in the playoffs, but they're going to use the remaining games so that he can hopefully find his rhythm in our system.

Could be the 3rd year in a row that JK doesn't get any real minutes in the playoffs. Good thing is that we don't really need him outside of a few matchups.

All shooters.. except for JK. People say this like it's something that he can develop. I remember people were talking about Giannis if he can make FTs and shoot 3s, he'd be unstoppable.. in 2019. How does he look now?

seriously? Giannis was a superstar in year 4 and MVP candidate (23/9/6).. JK is barely a positive player...

That wasn't my point. I was referring to people waiting for guys who aren't shooters to develop shooting ability, which on most occasions it won't happen. Guys like Podz, Heild and Post fit the mold of a shooter far more than someone like JK.

I’m not predicting whether JK can do it. Rather that, if i were JK, it would be at the top of my list of things to work on offensively.

the remaining games are as important as the playoffs if we want to get to 6 seed...yeah its not looking so good.

Jk is what he is, an explosive, inconsistent 22 year old (think of that, 2 years younger than our rookie post who's 24).
The problem is I just don't see a path to superstardom for him like guys like kobe, Lebron, or carmello, who were rising faster and earlier.
The ball-handling isn't there, the shot isn't there, nor the passing skills.
Right now he's no more than a role player in a championship team.
I hope I get to eat these words.

Draymond gets up to defend Giannis or Zion or some other big time players.

But there have been games where no-name scrubs burned him attacking a late or lazy closeout or just beating him at the rim.

I guess he could flip a switch but how long can he have the switch on at his age?

We have to drop 2 games while the Wolves don't lose any games before we drop to 7. As long as JK isn't closing when he doesn't deserve to we should be fine. Jimmy gives us a much larger margin where we can actually come back and lock down teams if we play the right lineup.

The good news is either the lakers or the nuggets have to lose tonight!

At some point, people will have to stop mentioning JK's age when discussing his lack of bbiq. Podz, Gui, and Moses are all 22 and they keep improving (and hustling) when given minutes. IMO, all 3 have passed JK up in value to Kerr's game plans and hopefully Kerr will keep giving those 3 the minutes they have earned. The race is too tight to have the luxury of waiting on JK to improve after playing 5,458 NBA minutes. Post is also improving but with 508 NBA minutes under his belt he's just rookie raw.

its more likely for us to drop 2 games.

we play MEM, LAL, DEN, HOU, LAC
Wolves play DEN, MEM

we basically have to win 3 out of 5 to have a chance. If WOlves win both games then we can only drop 1.

Did you hear jimmy after the game? It was something like "great to see buddy make shots because we all know, if buddy's making shots, he'll play hard on defense. So i hope he keeps hitting shots."

First time I've heard jimmy say something not 100% complimentary of one of his teammates.

Jimmy loves messing with Buddy. I get the impression Buddy doesn't take himself too seriously. Very little ego.

The hottest of takes...

Rotation players sure, but they are exposed when they're playing without the Big Dogs.

Now, in 2-3 years maybe not, I did also mention the need to find a new #1. This franchise has 3 sizable contracts all ending the same season meaning you could try to entice a new #1 to GS with basically a good and possibly playoff proven ready-made rotation.

Buddy takes way too much heat on Warriors' forums. He at least gives effort on defense and is constantly sprinting the floor those are always constant even though he has a lot of mental lapses and isn't a consistent shooter.
