Cade said what?NYPiston wrote:Absolutia wrote:It feels like Cade has had a pretty bad game, yet has a triple-double.
It hasn't been a 4th quarter for him on the offensive end, that's for sure.

I love the camaraderie of this team, you can see how closely knit they are similar to the great Pistons teams of decades past.

Damn good win. **** yeah. Credit to the Heat for playing a hell of a game. I like what they got going with Hero/Bam/Ware.

I just don't know how Miami lost 9 in a row, they have a lot of good players that play their butts off.
This was a good taste of playoff intensity for the Pistons, something they haven't had much of outside of the Warriors game.

What a finish. And after a game that felt distinctly underwhelming from a Piston's perspective.

He knocked down a big 3 late in the 4th to keep us in it, then had the defensive play of the year, followed by the game winning shot. And remember, this was ESPN. National coverage.BadMofoPimp wrote:Cade = God. Some things he did tonight were just out of this world!

Hard to enjoy this victory knowing how disappointed the Heat must be. I'll get over it though.

The drop-off from Cade to Sasser was just soooo great that even a semi-competent PG looks decent. Definitely not as attached to him as most of the board.
He's had a few nights where he's been making it and really engaged diving for balls... and he's had a few nights where his energy level just isn't there especially when he has a couple misses. Its like he needs to get going on offense to be really engaged and we're likely not going to be able to offer that role for him here especially once Ivey is back.
It's entirely possible that Schroder is a little worse next year at 32 and Sasser is a little better in year three in the league at age 25... to the point where it makes sense just to roll with Sasser at his low price as a third string guard.
