My thought is something around the basis of Maxey for Franz.

I don't think you're getting that kind of value for Embiid anymore.

It’s really tough to assess his value right now. His whole medical is up in the air.

Alternatively, if NOP would swap Zion/Olynyk for him and ORL would swap KCP/Isaac for George in 2 separate deals then you have the same line up as above.

We won't need Franz Wagner after we win the lottery and get to draft Cooper Flagg!

From the Magic board:

Jalen Suggs, Jett Howard, Orlando's 2025 1st (Unprotected), 2027 1st (Unprotected), 2029 Pick Swap (Unprotected) and a 2026 2nd Rounder for Maxey.

That's pretty damn tempting, even though I really want Franz and there are lot of you guys who don't want to trade Maxey no matter what.

McCain/Suggs/Grimes is an excellent 3 guard rotation.

To even consider this, I’d need Jett Howard subbed out for Black. Not that Black is anything special, but that Magic team would be scary good, those pics would be boo-boo.

Not including Wagner is an automatic decline from me.

- The picks are late 20s. Not a lot of value there.

- Through two seasons, Jett Howard looks like a guy they're going to decline team option on his rookie deal. We have two undrafted wings better than him.

- Jalen Suggs has shot poorly in 3 of his 4 seasons and is recovering from season-ending knee surgery.

Wagner would have to be the beginning and end of the conversation. Yes...I would trade Maxey straight up for Franz Wagner.

Say we lose the pick at #7 to OKC. Would you do:

Sixers trade:
Embiid

Thunder trade:
#7 back to Philadelphia
A.Wiggins
I. Joe
I.Hartenstein

Hartenstein/Bona
#7 (Queen?)/Yabusele
George/Wiggins/Edwards
McCain/Grimes/Joe
Maxey/Butler

That’s a lot of shooting. Maybe trade George at the next trade deadline for a pick and some more youth.

Love Hartenstein. But it all depends on embiid, If he can still Play at 80% for 55games plus Playoffs - hell No. If not - Sure but okc would say No.

I see a lot of trade proposals here with Embiid going to OKC, but I don't see the slightest reason that OKC would want to break up a young, ascending team and add an aging center with bad knees who is a ball stopper, and has never shown the ability to stay healthy or raise his game in the post season. Presti has shown that he is incredibly patient in building this group, and now he's going to mess with the chemistry for a guy who's never been past the second round? Why?

Their core (SGA, Williams, Chet) is still in tact with a trade like this though. If they don’t make the Finals this year, I can see Presti making a calculated swing. At some point even patient franchises like a shot when they’re close.

Thing is, if I'm OKC I'd rather have Hartenstein than Embiid with that group. Presti might take a swing, but Embiid would most certainly not be it.

I don't think OKC does that, though.

If you want to move Embiid, I think you're looking at LAL, DAL, PHX... maybe ATL?

Out of that crop.. only things I’d be interested in are Lively and a future Phoenix pick..

P.George to.... CHI?

PHI: P.George
CHI: P.Williams, J.Smith, Vucevic

CHI get's out of P.William's bad deal, and takes a swing at a named 'star'
PHI breaks PGeorge money into role players.

PG trade packages...

CHI: Lonzo/P. Williams...really several possible combos including Lonzo, Williams, Huerter, Vucevic, Collins, J. Smith
CHO: Bridges/G. Williams
ORL: Isaac/KCP

I don't see much else sans a Phoenix Durant or Beal trade.
