Here’s what I would do in a meaningless game against charlotte
Start kolek and Mitch
Shift hart and Mikal to the bench

Have a ball handler in kolek with deuce. OG KAT and Mitch

Off the bench it’s Mikal hart precious Payne.
But our idiot coach would never want to think too far outside the box and have some punch off the bench with a ball handler in at all times.

Said this last Summer before the KAT trade. My main concern with a KAT trade (outside cap flexibility) was trusting ISO-heavy-Thibs to maximize KAT and that's basically where we are.

Here’s what I would do in a meaningless game against charlotte

Too many moves. I trust Payne more than I trust Deuce to run PG. Put Payne in the starting unit (I would prefer Kolek, but we know Thibs ain't about that) and have Kolek backup Payne.

In a perfect world, my ideal lineup would be Mitch/KAT/OG/Bridges/Payne-or-Kolek. Hart the 1st dude off the bench, followed by Deuce, and Precious. Hart off the bench solves so many primary concerns because now Deuce can play off Hart and not worry about creating for others. I can't even look at Deuce and say "Yeah, you're a combo-guard" because he does nothing a combo-guard can do.

I semi-liked Thibs. I wanted Bryant or a younger and more adaptable coach. I saw Thibs wasn’t going anywhere so thought to give him a chance. Now with no Brunson he still won’t adapt and experiment.

Pacom has the FEWEST minutes of ANY 1st round pick in his draft.
Team is obviously lost.

I can’t wait for him to be “promoted” to the front office this off season.

All this whining over Bridges is just pathetic and nonsensical by now. He’s clearly been a good player for us this year.

Yeah there was a great video breaking it down on YouTube, I’m sure you’ll find it. Thibs insisted on making the play calls and kept telling him to do his job. Hart wanted them to run other plays especially against zone. It was the 15 special play they were arguing about.

I’m pretty sure Hart wasn’t making the case for him to come off the bench though

I hold these truths self-evident and the front office--and you all--will come to realize the same by this summer:

-> Thibs is not a championship coach
-> Hart is not a starter; he's a 22 minute bench guy
-> You can't win a title with KAT; defense is too poor to overcome
-> KAT must be used to upgrade fit... Giannis (unlikely) or KD & Dunn & pick (possible)

Keep doing the same thing!! That's everyone's job. Same thing over and over even if the other team sees it coming. It's genius level coaching. We just can't understand the complex machinations of it all with our feeble minds.
