Luka traded to the Lakers

Went to the LAL vs SAS game and it's crazy how excited for Luka they are there. Almost everyone had a Luka shirt or jersey. Mind you that's on a team with LeBron, who many believe is the GOAT or at least a top 2 player.

Also Reaves is a baller. How we didn't ask for him back is asinine.

Yeah. For sure. I really can't believe he did it. Still feels like a bit of a fever dream. I don't think there has been an even remotely similar trade in NBA history.

Having been a fan of a lottery team with a terrible GM for a long time (kinda still have the terrible GM) I for sure hope the same rate doesn't befall you guys.

Was always a big Dirk and Luka fan despite the KG / Dirk battles.

So AD is also shutdown. Lakers managed to hide the injury well, but mavs were desperate anyway. Mavs owners want to operate in low expense ode until thier gambling plans take off.

I had the same feeling... But the can't manipulate a **** in this case. It's too big. And it will even worse next years.

At least one head has to fall. Harrison is done.
Otherwise 90% of the Mavs fanbase is out next year too.

Nah, neither one of them is smart enough to start something like that. There were no hints whatsoever. You also need to know that 14 days before trade happened, Nico gave interview for Slovenian media and praised Luka like he is his own son. The hypocrisy is really next level here. For all the praise Nico gave him in the past he then did a complete 180 after the trade.

They had no plan to manipulate before that, everything was done after the fact. They were simply total idiots without any common ground on why they're doing it. Listen to post trade interviews as well. Dude was laughing in a presser like he just did the best thing in the universe and everyone was caught of guard.

Tim MacMahon apparently suggests Kidd and Nico were the driving forces behind the trade. And given the fact that people noticed Luka didn't want to shake Kidd's hand after the game, there might be something to it. We know Kidd is a scumbag but didn't think he's that big of a dumbass as Nico. Well, Nets and Bucks fans did warn everyone.

Yep, it was an ego trip of Nico and a conniving snake in Kidd, supported by a low life scumbag owner who was happy to noy pay supermax and was easily fooled into destroying the on court product of his franchise.
