Teams that give their homegrown guy a super duper max shouldn't be punished more than a team that gives a player a regular max. The money should count the same for luxury tax etc

The crazy thing is that even with the 4 game losing streak, they still have that #1 seed locked in.

Can you imagine him and Brunson in the playoffs for us? Would be the top duo in the league. Hopefully KAT likes Phoenix.

He is coaching well enough this year to be fired next year.

honestly though, KD is an immensely talented player, but he is looking old. If he wants to stick around like Vince Carter, he probably can, but you can see he is starting to look like Nets KG more than Nets KD

Atkinson utilizes his bench and keeps his players as healthy/fresh/prepared as possible. It's not about losing 4 in a row. It's about the dumb things that Thibs does that people can't stand. The straw man defense system doesn't work.

We don't have the bench. If Atkinson was here he'd also play maybe 9 players depending on match up's. No coach trying to win with this roster is going 10 or 11 deep.
