Bulls destroyed the Lakers, they’re now gaining separation on us. Solid night again

meh.....

If jimmy was a 100% type guy he would have gotten 100% pay.

If Jimmy can't go 100% in the regular season, then he is correctly worth more for a team that can control how they get to the post season, then to a team that needs him to be "worth" his pay in the regular season.

Considering what went down, I got little issue with the Heat not throwing heaps of money at him.

Good to See JJJ show up on the list.....

If he can remember how to shoot, and Miami can put together a roster that keeps him off dudes to quick for him, or too big for him...he might still be a hell of a rotational player.

Makes little difference when people quote the poster you added as a foe. You still see their posts.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

A friendly reminder: Riley had to be talked out of Chris Kaman at 5.

In any case, having a higher pick gives you better odds of getting a better player, but the process is subject to human error that can be found in every Draft. Remember when Minnesota picked Ricky Rubio at 5 and Jonny Flynn at 6 just before Golden State selected some cat named Curry?

And even if you pick the "right" guy, **** happens. Just look at Zion or Anthony Davis with the Pels or John Wall with the Wizards.

Even when you get the Draft right over several years, **** happens: just look at OKC who hit the jackpot with Durant, Westbrook, and Harden in successive drafts? Then Harden left...then Durant left.....

More important that who Miami might pick, Miami is going to likely end up with a top-10 lottery pick and another pick around 20, giving them trade chips to improve the roster.
yeah good points but we are screwed either way. this org has to blow it up because despite of the tank. what they have its not working, coaches included

Coaches included? Yall young cats are soo eager to get rid of coaches. Cotdam microwave generation. Outside of Kerr and Pop, there is no better coach. Besides, he can only coach what he has. Miami needs real talent, not undrafted g league players. Why do you think Spo has to come up with all these schemes? He has no top end talent, yet his teams still compete.

Contrary to popular opinion, he took jimmy bum a%^ to 2 finals and a possible 3rd with no talent on the roster only coaching. jimmy had top flight talent and NEVER sniffed the finals. He had Kat, Embid, Wade etc. He comes here, Struss, Vincent, and Gogi and goes farther than he ever has. Miami has'nt had a top pick in over 20 years and has made the playoffs 25 out of 37 years. You can't say that about 95% of the organizations.

Comparing us to teams that get top picks every year and squander it, is a huge slap in the face. Our undrafted talent out perform them because of incredible coaching and development. Give Miami Zion, Durant, Davis on a Spo coached team and watch us dominate for years.

Yessir. Let’s go! Our coaching staff are f*ckin bad as*. No matter the season we’re having currently they are world class & elite quality at what they do. Appreciate cats coming out supporting our Heat staff lately when most are losing their minds & ready for a complete face lift. Who will believe in us among the chaos if we don’t hold this steady & continue to operate the way Heat does! We’ll overcome & conquer once more…

Chit made me sick watching it live and hearing him yell in pain on the floor after it happened. Couldn’t believe he stayed in the game after. He had to have at very least sprained it. The replay in the jumbotron had everyone gasping when Thompson landed on that knee. He needs to just sit out even if it’s just minor. Call up Keshad

Perfect excuse to sit him out for tha tank

Big win for the Hawks last night taking down the Warriors. Would love for us to break our losing streak against the Warriors to improve that pick a little bit before going on our final tank losing streak.

He might look awesome, I just don't see how it matters all that much. We had multiple seasons of Jimmy just not caring all that much, or...if did care....he could not take the load. Either way Jimmy could not do what The Heat needed him to do here.

The losing streak proves just how valuable a coasting Jimmy was to this team

Even when he isn’t scoring, his handling and IQ affected the overall performance of the offense in a meaningful way.

Without him, there’s no leadership, and a handling deficiency that absolutely paralyzes the team’s performance in 4th quarters.

He was worth every penny

I'm always ready to point out the lack of talent on this team, but there's no way that we should be losing this many games. Our talent level is obviously not great, but it's not 4-17 over the last 21 games bad. :nonono:

It's possible that the players have tuned out Spo and it's time for him to go.

Give Spo a real 1A superstar and he'll bring you to the finals.
