Yep. Don't get me wrong, I love how he's been playing. But I can see him regressing in typical Bulls fashion.

Yeah, definitely a legitimate fear. If he remains the clear #1 creator, I can see him keeping it up. Outside of his 3pt shooting, which I think Patton can continue to help stabilize, he's not playing any different than he has throughout his career. The defense is probably a mirage though.

So players can’t improve on defense? Why is it probably a mirage?

It’s still glorious. Especially him walking out with the L before the game is even over.

I guess this also means we will continue to see Billy coaching this team. There's no way we change coaching when the team is developing nicely and he's a part of that. I'm ok with that, I think this is the very first time I'm really ok with Billy coaching this team.

I've said this before, but, if they're going to give Giddey 30 per year, I hope they structure it the same way as Jalen Suggs contract is.

35m, 32.4m, 29.6m, 26.8m, 26.7m.

Exactly. It’s a turnover or bad shot waiting to happen.

Coby is a SG. SGs can still create if the PG is trapped.

Unless they are Keith Bogans..

Crazy to think you could start and play a black hole like Keith Bogans significant minutes and still be a 60 win team. That wasn't THAT long ago.

For a guy who is being hyped up for his conditioning and longevity, it feels a lot like he's just coasting out there. Maybe he's just maintaining conditioning until the playoff.

Nah he just came off a groin injury. Dude had a reason to coast. I think he assumed that this would be a good game to come back on and work himself into it, but we just ran it down their throat and he has 40yr old legs.

This is what AKME meant when he said they might make the play in. Didn't want to rule out a best case scenario and now here we are. The likely 9th team out of the east and on a bit of a tear.

Is a playoff series against the Cavs or the Celtics worth dropping 5 spots in the draft? In this draft I think it is.

Of course they can improve. And it's possible he has. I'm just not sold on it yet. Want to see a fully year of this type of effort.

Billy was hard on him when he first got here and he got alot better.

I think we are seeing the evolution of Josh Giddey.

Pay that man his money.

Lakers announcers said HE is their quarterback. Now imagine a healthy Lonzo with this bunch. Next season can be special.

It's like we have the supporting cast here and just need the star to make it all work together. Very similar to the Magic before Paolo. If only there was a star at the top of this draft that could do the same for us.

Next 2 games are gonna be @ Nuggets and rematch vs Lakers. Both teams will be coming off a back to back + travel (3 games in 4 nights stretches), so if these kids just run, they should be able to tire their opponents.

You really think Paola is a franchise player?

I think any of guys in the top 4 have all-star potential. I’d also be happy with Newell at 9 or 10. Not sure who’s left with high potential if we drop to 15.

Don’t know what I’m most impressed by…

Buz starting out 0-4 from 3 and finishing 5-10 and putting up 31.

Giddey literally outplaying Luka and taking over the game in the second half with defense and passing.

Coby literally doing whatever he wants on offense and getting FTs at will.

For me it's Majin Buzelis starting 0/4, followed by me saying his 3pt shooting has disappeared and then him going on a blitz making me look stupid.
