If jimmy was a 100% type guy he would have gotten 100% pay.

If Jimmy can't go 100% in the regular season, then he is correctly worth more for a team that can control how they get to the post season, then to a team that needs him to be "worth" his pay in the regular season.

Considering what went down, I got little issue with the Heat not throwing heaps of money at him.

The losing streak proves just how valuable a coasting Jimmy was to this team

Even when he isn’t scoring, his handling and IQ affected the overall performance of the offense in a meaningful way.

Without him, there’s no leadership, and a handling deficiency that absolutely paralyzes the team’s performance in 4th quarters.

He was worth every penny

I don't agree with your last sentence. Even with Jimmy, we weren't going to win anything. And in the end, isn't that the point? To build a roster that can win a championship?

With Jimmy, we were more of the same. And it was only going to get worse as Jimmy ages and starts getting more injuries.

I'd rather move on quicker and find another formula to get us back into championship contention.

The Goran Dragic injury really f'd us. That was it. That was the year we should have won it all. We 100% could have beat the Lakers with a healthy Dragon.

Oh how sweet it would have been too. To take out lebron as a side benefit.

Reaching the Finals only to see dragon get injured in the 1st game... that was the year we should have won it all with Jimmy.

Sucks.

Likely not. Let it out tho

Bam is peaked.

Only goes downhill from here when he starts breaking down.

Herro's a got another semi gear that he can get to, but its really dependent on playing on a team that can take the ball out of his hands.

Meanwhile, Jimmy will still be the most intelligent player of the 3 in 2 years.

Gonna poison pill the hell out of deal somehow.

What would you have Pat done differently?

Dame on the Bucks hasn't been a success. 1st round exit last year. And Portland didn't want to trade with us.

The roster as was, wasn't goin to win, agreed.

Needed a bold trade or two to inject a higher caliber of talent onto the roster to provide post season help to Jimmy.

Beenies drunk 90% of the time and if you’re not a top 5 player in the league to him you’re just another scrub but I do agree with him here. If we keep Jimmy we’re likely getting KD this summer and hopefully flipping Herro for an upgrade too. I’ll roll the dice on a Bam/Jimmy/KD etc. team for the next 2-3 years gladly

I can believe Durant going ring chasing. Durant is 36 plus yrs old. No player that old wants to carry a team. Its the same case with Butler.

Hard to say because no one can account for how actual NBA GM's would feel about any hypothetical trades with their teams involving their players.

Ill put it this way, every player and asset would of been on the table other than Jimmy if it were up to me in an effort to acquire the right star(s) who could compliment Jimmy and vice versa.

Golden State will go after him again in the offseason. I put them as the front runner to get KD

Dame hasn’t worked well in Milwaukee or as good as people thought he would have because Giannis is so ball dominant. We would’ve seen the Dame on the right without Giannis in Miami as he would’ve been the 1st option in place of Tyler who has been our 1st option for like 3 years now unfortunately and Jimmy/Bam would’ve played perfectly off of him.

Weren’t Dame Giannis and Middleton injured in the playoffs last year? They probably get to the ECF last year if not

By the way they didn’t want to send Dame here because on top of the public request Miami wasn’t operating in good faith. We were lowballing and trying to strong arm Portland into sending him here. Hell we didn’t even want to include Caleb Martin in the deal.

That’s the difference between the Dame talks and Fox to the Spurs. It was the Spurs only and the Spurs didn’t fuxk around and trying to bend the Kings over, they sent a very respectable trade package over and got the job done.

Huh? The Spurs refused to add their rookie. All they had to give up was the Jones and Collins. Thats like trading Gabe Vincent and Strus and picks for Dame

The Kings got Lavine, 3 1sts and 3 2nds for Fox. They made out great all things considered
