If jimmy was a 100% type guy he would have gotten 100% pay.
If Jimmy can't go 100% in the regular season, then he is correctly worth more for a team that can control how they get to the post season, then to a team that needs him to be "worth" his pay in the regular season.
Considering what went down, I got little issue with the Heat not throwing heaps of money at him.
The losing streak proves just how valuable a coasting Jimmy was to this team
Even when he isn’t scoring, his handling and IQ affected the overall performance of the offense in a meaningful way.
Without him, there’s no leadership, and a handling deficiency that absolutely paralyzes the team’s performance in 4th quarters.
He was worth every penny

Likely will still be a better player than Bam and Herro
Likely not. Let it out tho

wait, there's another Nikola jokic, jovic, topic in the league?
We gotta collect them all.
Nikola Jovic
Nikola Topic
and then somehow grab Nikola Jokic

Only goes downhill from here when he starts breaking down.
Herro's a got another semi gear that he can get to, but its really dependent on playing on a team that can take the ball out of his hands.
Meanwhile, Jimmy will still be the most intelligent player of the 3 in 2 years.

I don't agree with your last sentence. Even with Jimmy, we weren't going to win anything. And in the end, isn't that the point? To build a roster that can win a championship?
With Jimmy, we were more of the same. And it was only going to get worse as Jimmy ages and starts getting more injuries.
I'd rather move on quicker and find another formula to get us back into championship contention.

I can believe Durant going ring chasing. Durant is 36 plus yrs old. No player that old wants to carry a team. Its the same case with Butler.marson wrote:Kevin Durant is Denver bound, and it's an ideal situation for him to play alongside Jokic as a second star and less pressure.
A trade package involving Michael Porter Jr., along with Denver's 2026 and 2028 first-round picks, should be enough to seal the deal.

Dame on the Bucks hasn't been a success. 1st round exit last year. And Portland didn't want to trade with us.

Huh? The Spurs refused to add their rookie. All they had to give up was the Jones and Collins. Thats like trading Gabe Vincent and Strus and picks for Dame3ammy3uck3ts wrote:By the way they didn’t want to send Dame here because on top of the public request Miami wasn’t operating in good faith. We were lowballing and trying to strong arm Portland into sending him here. Hell we didn’t even want to include Caleb Martin in the deal.
That’s the difference between the Dame talks and Fox to the Spurs. It was the Spurs only and the Spurs didn’t fuxk around and trying to bend the Kings over, they sent a very respectable trade package over and got the job done.
