It's okay bro, he can't hurt you anymore.

Imma let you cook - but you're acting like this place wasn't hyping gallo as the next larry bird. This sht is ridiculous around here. Calling kolek mark price is absurd. And you and the rest of you youth springs hope goons deserve all the sht you get for it. Makes it hard for us reasonable sensible fans to appreciate em without fear of being labeled as crazies like you lot.

Like our living legend says....

BE BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a team messageboard why would you expect reasonable takes? You came to the wrong place hombre, I know what to expect, but every single person trying to act above it all had the same crazy takes about some other Knick at some point in time. Ie. Gravy was a card carrying Mudiay stan, he thought that man was a bigger Baron Davis, do we hold that against him? Nope.

Going to a team messageboard and trying to be the cool kid at the table above it all should get you labeled crazy. You're just as crazy as the rest of us for trying to pretend that you're measured and normal. Greenie will spread his wings and embrace the wind of youth, you have let him down yet again.

Puhl-lease - you're not going to pull this reverse uno-card sht on me. Ive been dealing with that from meLo for ages now.

The homers around here act like they're the reasonable ones and measured in their takes all the time. You can play that themark price comps are a joke but we have people in here acting like he would lead the league in assist that deserves ridicule.

Anyways - Me I'm different I'm measured in my takes with some negativity cause it's cool not to care - bïtches love badboys. 8-)

The Mark Price stuff is clearly just jokes, but some of these dudes have invested everything they have in the coach being infallible so Kolek not being a bum is a threat to their takes/stances. That's all it comes down to really.

Nobody really knows what he can be, but it taking an injury to get him on the floor shouldn't have been necessary.

Well got dayum, i finally see it, some of you mf are treating kolek like he is Vietnam. This is a damn proxy war.

I hate you you all!

The war was over when the Whistleblower said his peace. I'm just illustrating why someone would look at the game Kolek had and try to throw water on it. I just like getting things out in the open, I address the root cause and not argue the symptom because that's a waste of time. We're all adults right?

nuking kolek to fight a global economic war is dirty :noway:

I'm glad you guys are admitting your posts about basketball are batsh*t insane, this is some kind of breakthrough. Unfortunately you revel in being lunatics so there will be no growth.

Your go to deflection move is comparing every young player to Frank, it's hilarious

It's okay Bro, Frank can't hurt you anymore.

What? You don't see the similarities in physical profile and approach to the game between Kolek and Frank? Every time I see that lanky MFer get in the game I just wish he would be more aggressive.

If I had to think of a physical comp for Kolek, maybe accountant that hoops at the YMCA after work, plays the right way but doesn't stand out then one day his girlfriend picks him up and she's way hotter than anyone expected now he's popular at the gym and... wait what were we talking about?

Nah, he's nothing like Caruso.

Stylistically, he plays a bit like Price and that's all that's about. In terms of a realistic hopeful comp at this point you'd probably say something like Luke Ridnour or TJ Ford but those guys are harder to remember.

Calling people homers on a team messageboard will always be funny, because what else were you expecting? I'd be thoroughly upset with this place if people weren't calling Kolek the next Bob Cousy, I won't be satisfied until every good white PGs name has been dropped and we've moved on to saying he's the White version of a great black PG. If you want boring measured takes then the GB is right there. I'd rather hang out among the fanatics, they're more fun, while the alternative is basically this -

He plays like a textbook version of a point guard whomever that is. That might mean he's never going to be freaky deaky special as an athlete and only that he has some of the cleanest fundamentals you'll see in most point guards.

And that's why I like him: He delivers the ball where people can score more easily. No fuss, no muss, just efficient.

Plus, he has good shooting form and he can drive and kick or convert at the rim.

He's a good player and is at the very least a highly competent backup PG if not a starter someday

Oh alright

Jason Kidd with a touch of Dave Bing, a pinch of Reggie Theus and a splash of Chris Paul

I know everyone wants to blame a player or coach. I have seen damn near every starters get called out by one person or another and Thibs of course is the biggest target right now but the real issue with the Knicks is depth. That bench has been really anemic and when a starter like Brunson goes down, there just isn't a lot of quality players to fill in and pick up the rope. I think this team would look significantly better if it had more depth.

Coach player disconnect that is growing. Players know Thibs is not putting this current personell in best position to succeed and they are starting to get frustrated to the point of making it public
