The University of Texas is closing in on hiring Xavier University's Sean Miller as their next head coach. Texas fired Rodney Terry on Sunday. In a twist of fate, Terry was fired after losing to Miller in a First Four matchup last week.
Miller is in his second stint at Xavier. He's coached at the University of Arizona for 12 seasons.
Overall, in 20 seasons, Miller's team have made 13 NCAA Tournament appearances. He has a career record of 487-196.
