The female ref, Natalie Sago, is so clueless about basketball that whenever a player approaches to her to talk about a recent stupid call by her, I'm certain she responds by saying "hey, other refs blow the whistle too, why can't I every now and then?"

Scheierman has no clue what he’s doing on defense. Any time the blazers put him in action it leads to a wide open shot. They tried to compensate by running zone but rotations are all off because once again Scheierman has no idea what he’s supposed to be doing

He’s moving his feet and keeping the guy in front of him. They’re hitting contested shots.

JT logs another ASSISTS>3PTA game. Tonight logging 9 assists while attempting 7 three pointer.
While not a perfect indicator of a Celtics win, Celts now 5-0 this season when JT assists exceed threepoint attempts!

Just finished watching. Since only 5 pages posted, I read it all. Interesting takes. I personally had fun watching this game.

I don’t think JD making the parent club next year is very likely. I think, for a point guard, the team prioritizes 3pt%, defense, size, and not turning it over. JD’s strength is creative playmaking, speed, and running PnR with a lob threat. And then JD just may not be an NBA player, which makes the argument im about to make a moot point…

however, the thing about JD as a 3rd or 4th guard is that tactically he would offer a different look, a curveball on offense, because he would give coach the option of a different play style. It’d be really interesting if JT played some minutes with a +35% assist percentage type of PG…

But it’s all academic because I don’t think JD is making the roster next year.

JD early minutes. I have a feeling he will be a cheap option for end of bench next season.
