armchair gms like us might incorrectly believe this to be an overpay but a cason type at 20 mm is a fantastic trading piece, just like dort is now.

i don't think he's there yet. kcp and dillon brooks were around that. malik monk (he took less) was under that. terance mann got $15.5mm a year. i think that's around where wallace would be right now if he signed an extension. could change in the next year ofc.

I thought we all knew the Thunder bench is better than the 76ers bench. Embiid and PG13 are done for the season. Maxey is out. Oubre is sitting. Chet, Joe and Wiggins are the best player participating in the game.

I knew it was unlikely to lose but a man can dream. Gonna be tough for that pick to convey and it might not even be a good pick next season which sucks a lot (even if the Sixers are in a bad spot).

He’s a lot younger than them though .

Shai looks super tired. Takes too much effort for him without JDub and Chet. Time to rest him some games...MVP race is almost over anyway.

on the other hand I hope JDub can come back soon...not that many regular season games left.

very hard to believe that less than 5 years after going full rebuild mode we would have another MVP.

I've never been so wrong about a Thunder player like I was with Shai...always liked him but never saw his ceiling and I wasn't totally against the idea of trading him for the 2022 first pick or for another elite young player.

Caruso is killing it lately...hope he stays healthy. Hartenstein struggling a bit more lately but still doing fine. Hope JDub can come back soon enough and we can have 3-4 games with our starting line up (with Chet as a starter and Hartenstein coming off the bench) before the playoffs starts.

he was also a bit bothered by his hip yesterday...no clue if they need to rest him or not but that's a concern.

shai+chet+caruso is just godly. chet+caruso really in any combinations is too much on defense.

I thought Chet looked great. He nailed a three coming off of a screen from Dort early in the game. The list of rim protectors that can do that is exceptionally short. The contrast last night was stark with how ineffective Sabonis was relative to Chet. We just left Sabonis alone all night and he couldn't hurt us.

Even if we end up winning multiple championships, it’s hard to envision any future iteration of the thunder having so many likable players on the team as this group has.

"We draft people first, and players second"

Guess that worked out well...

Good JDub is back but wish Cason was a starter instead of Hartenstein. They should know at this point that we are better with only one big.

hartenstein is the prototypical center i have always wanted back in the russ+kd era and i hoped adams to become

sooooo good. does the inside work so well, can see the floor and deliver pinpoint passes

I think it’s good for him in the long run. The first group of thunder u players were surrounded more with a culture of entitlement, imo. I think this is one area Presti deserves a lot of credit for his growth this time around. Chet is our future and I believe he knows it. This is healthy for him in the long run.

I know I should enjoy every game but at this point I just care about players health and seeing some health concerns with JDub/Caruso/Hartenstein/Chet isn't helping ;)

An healthy Thunder squad is going to the Finals if we aren't badly underperforming. I have some concerned facing the Lakers, Nuggets and Warriors but don't think they can sustain our physicallity for 48 minutes and even less in a 7 game series
